Question about Magellan RoadMate 700 GPS Receiver
Volume nil, touch screen does not wor, sometimes it does, if it does its too slow. My enter key does not respond most of the time. This was never dropped, handled very carefully. I tried to do diagnostics from the configration screen, it takes a long to respond and finally when it does it just races from the top of the menu, canot make it to stop at diagnostics, it goes up to POI Selection in one shot or goes down to the last item of the menu which is Map regions. What should I do. I think I'm still on warranty, but any quick fix would be appreciated. Thanks.
Mthomas, Although I can't think of any quick fix, if you have a cd of the software version that you've installed then try re-installing that. if nothing else, access the secret " " menu and reset user data, you'd be amazed at how much that can fix at times. At user menu (after reset) press "-" and repeat key at the same time. select "reset user data". If you can get it to the touch screen calibration test, then it could respond. (eventhough it's not working otherwise) Good Luck, DanEz007
