Every time i push the open button the screen folds down and the system shuts off. so opening the system to change any of the EQ settings is impossible. but the system will stay on if i eject the cd its only when the screen opens completely that the power shuts off
I have the same problem and found it is the ribbon cable to the faceplate holder. As the plate folds down it breaks the connection in the bad part of the cable and the deck doent see the faceplate, thinks it's been removed and begins to close. As it is closing the ribbon cable straightens and makes connection again. Hope this helps.

Took a while but finally figured it out. Original thinking was that the problem is in the handle twist and release mechanism. The problem actually lies in the collar where the unit locks into place. If the stroller is in the open position it can't be fixed unless it's folded up. To open stroller without the twist handle -- locate both black spring loaded collars where it locks into place (approx outside where the seat and seat back meet). Manually pull both the collars up the shaft. The spring is tight and it may take an extra set of hands to get the right leverage. Once the unit is in the folded position -- flip the stroller upside down and blast WD-40 into the hole where the spring pins are and work the black collar up and down. The twist mechanism on the handle will now work. My daughter claims it didn't even work that good when the stroller was brand new and we saved the time and trouble of shipping the entire stroller and seat system back to Georgia just to let the Graco people decide what to do. Bottom line is that this mechanism design stinks from the get go. Hope this helps.
Remove the battery and the power cord from the laptop and the press the power button down and hold it down for 30 seconds. Re-install the battery and the power cord and try to turn on your laptop as usual.
Push down on the tab at the top of the panel and open the front panel (Panel will say enter security code now). Put a slotted screwdriver in the top hole and depress to fold dowm the second door. Battery is inside the plastic case with two screws holding on the lid. The battery is a 6V 1.2AH battery
Follow the following procedures for 2010 Ford vehicles with the door open shut down enabled:
1. Locate the override button and LED. On my escape the override button was at the bottom of the plastic by the driver's knees. The LED is attached to the harness behind this plastic, under the steering column. It is easier to find it once it's on.
2. Open the driver's door, press and hold the brake, turn the vehicle on.
3. While holding the brake, press and hold the override button, after 10-15 seconds the horn will honk 3 times. Let go of the button and the brake.
4. Push the override button until you hear the horn honk 5 times.
5. Push the brake until the horn honks 7 times, this is the "door open shut down" selection. The LED should be on.
6. Push the start button on the Key Fob. Do NOT hold it down, or it will reset everything.
7. The LED should now be off.
8. Shutdown the vehicle, and test it out.
Note: This procedure can be used to change the auto shut-off from 10 to 15 minutes as well. Instead of going to where the horn honks 7 times, go to where it honks 3 times, and turn the LED on.
Darren Kelly-themasterofthrowdown...I've had mine since they came out in 1985. Here's what you do...Each of the 4 channels on the upper right function as an individual equalizer. You set each channel one at a time. So, you have the ability to change channels on your e.q. without resetting your faders(you just push ch. 1 2 3 or 4) and the sound of the music will change according to how you set ch 1 2 3 or 4)DON'T UNPLUG THE SH-8046 WHILE THE MUSIC IS PLAYING OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CHANNEL SETTINGS -ALL YOU BLUE LINES WILL END UP STRAIGHT ACROSS AND YOU'LL HAVE TO RESET THE 4 PROGRAMS (AGAIN) you don't have to set all of them*--Now, you set them with your finger (sweeping it up and down on the touch-screen (REMEMBER TO PUSH THE (LOCK) BUTTON FIRST)you have to unlockit it...then you have the ability to adjust you frequencies(the blue lines)once you have a good sound, YOU PUSH A NUMBER...say, 1...then push MEMORY then push 1 again...AND CHANNEL 1 will be set ---do the same thing for the other channels --IF YOU PUSH THE L or R button you can set the E.Q. channels different from each other (if desired --it's just an extra function...and both settings will appear on the screen. But I just keep mine both the same(Left and Right). When you record music(like I do - being a Musician) it is important to be able to listen to the play-back-SO YOU HAVE TO PLUG THE CD RECORDER BACK IN TO (PLAYBACK ON THE REAR OF THE sh-8046-(PUSH (TAPE) TO LISTEN TO YOUR TAPE RECORDERorCD RECORDER)to hear what you recrding sounds like.PUSH -SOURCE- TO GO BACK TO REGULAR PLAY MODE---If you ever walk in and cut you system on and nothing happens, check to see if on SOURCE or TAPE-(rec eq) on the bottom right is supposed to make the music sound better, push it to cut it on/off when you make tapes/CD's the red light should cut on ...Reverse --flips your EQ settings upside down(not such a useful function)....I guess that's all I can tell you, this is the only EQ I need for my overall system and I haven't bought another one for the mixer. IT HAS NEVER MALFUNCTIONED IN 25 YEARS -- I'M USING IT RIGHT NOW FOR MAKING PROFESSIONAL SOUND QUALITY CD's. SO HAVE FUN! Darren Kelly- [email protected]
Just below where the handle bar part meets the rest of the frame, on the left and right side you will find black plastic bits that point down, which you can slide your finger behind. The right hand one has a silver button which you need to push in. Then pull both of the plastic levers towards yourself and push down at the same time. The Mac 3 will then fold down.
Tyres-press the light grey button on the chassis next to the wheel slot as you push on the wheel (this is also the button you press to release each wheel). Opening it is easy - With Buzzwheels on the ground, remove safety hook (plastic loop on left side of handle fixed to peg inner left rear wheel) ten simple lift handle and Buzz frame should automatically pop up. Closing takes more practice-put on brakes (press red foot pedal) stand to side of chassis and at bottom end of handle there are two large grey buttons. With left hand on left button push button forwards (ie direction of chevrons on button) then press in. At the same time push in right button with right hand. Whilst doing this you also need to push down and forad on frame and it should fold down. If you don't push buttons enough it can click. When folded remember to put on safety hook before transit, otherwise it might pop up on its own. Hope this helps.
