Make sure you have the mouse plugged in tight in the back of the computer before you start the computer.

There are two types of mouse interfaces: the PS2 Serial Style (round) and the USB Style (flat square).

If you have the PS2 round type it must plug into the Green Port on the back of the computer. The purple port is for the Keyboard. Also, the PS2 type is not Plug and Play. You cannot unplug it and plug it back in while the computer is running if you do the computer must be rebooted.

The USB type mouse is plug and play. You can take it out and put it back in without having to reboot the computer.

If you have a usb type mouse maybe the usb port that you have it plugged into is not working. Try plugging it into another usb port.

PC Becoming Slow

I know that kind of feeling you feel when it takes like 5 minutes to open just an app. Well, this is another common computer problems people face in their daily lives.
The root cause is usually due to the duration of how long you have been operating the PC. A computer that is older than 2 years will experience this, regardless of their specifications.

Solutions:

1. Find resource-hungry program

With your system full of programs, there will definitely be one or two programs that use lots of your resources, for instance, a ram.
To find out, open the Task Manager. You can right-click your taskbar and select the "Task Manager" option or press Ctrl+Shift+Escape to open it. On Windows 8, 8.1, and 10.
Click the "CPU," "Memory," and "Disk" headers to sort the list by the applications using the most resources. If any application is using too many resources, you might want to close it normally - if you can't, select it here and click "End Task" to force it to close.

2. Disable startup program

Autostart programs during system startup can be the major reason why your PC is slowing down.
On Windows 8, 8.1, and 10, there's now a startup manager in the Task Manager you can use to manage your startup programs.
Right-click the taskbar and select "Task Manager" or press Ctrl+Shift+Escape to launch it. Click over to the Startup tab and disable startup applications you don't need.
Windows will helpfully tell you which applications slow down your startup process the most.

3. Scan for malware and adware

Day-to-day usage of computers can make you accidentally catch malware and adware.
These are usually small malicious programs, caught from the internet when we browse or download something.
These programs are designed to steal your information and to that, they have to transfer information over the internet, which can potentially slow down your system.
To remove them, simply use your built-in anti-virus software to scan and detect.

When start system show error

Does the system boot up? This does not seem like an error that would stop it from booting up, just an annoyance.

Click Start/Programs and look for the RUNcommand. You might see it anywhere once you click Programs, or it might beinside the Accessories folder. Click RUN and when it opens up type"msconfig.exe" (without the quotes) then hit ok.

When the System Configuration window opens click the Startup tab. In theStartup Tab we are only concerned with 2 columns, the first column which is theStartup Items and the column that says Command. You can put your mouse pointerbetween two column headings and it will turn into a +, then hold the left mousebutton and drag the column over to the right to expand it so you can readwhat's below it.

Now everything has a check mark beside it. This means that everytime youstart your computer, these items have to load and run.
Start with the first item listed under the startup item column and look at itand look at the command for it. We want to find the command that your system is having a problem with the script file. The command is C:\WINDOWS\system32\FAantivirus.vbs. When you see it under the command column take the check mark off over to the left next to the item column and this will keep it from running the next time you boot your system.

How to widen my screen

    • 1 Use the zoom in and out shortcut with your mouse. Many programs such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Microsoft Word allow users to zoom in and out quickly using their mouse and keyboard. Hold down the "Control" ("Ctrl") key, and then move the mouse wheel forward to zoom in or backward to zoom out until the text fits your screen to your liking.
    • 2 Use the zoom command from your program's menus. If you don't have a mouse with a wheel or the mouse zoom shortcut does not work, try locating a "zoom" command in the "View" menu of your program. Many programs have an option to zoom in and out under the "View" menu, which will make text larger or smaller. You may have to select "Zoom in" or "Zoom out" several times before the text is the right size.
    • 3 Change your screen resolution. Altering your screen resolution can change the size of windows and text on your screen. Right click the desktop, select "Properties" (Windows XP) or "Personalize" (Windows Vista and 7), click the "Settings" tab (XP), or the "Display Settings" link (Vista) or click "Display" and then "Adjust Screen Resolution" (7). Adjust the resolution slider up or down, click "Apply" and then click "OK."

The message : 'the shortcut that "jueqiexx.exe" refers to cannot be located' keeps on popping up and I do not know how to deal with it.

That program is probably in your startup folder. Go to the start menu --> All programs --> Startup (its a folder) --> then delete the shortcut

If that does not work then you can use the utility CCleaner to get rid of the startup programs that you don't want

Coby netbook...NBPC1023 gives me this message upon startup "reboot and select proper Boot device or insert Boot media in selected boot drive and press a key...I don't have any drives that I can...

If it's not detecting the OS on your internal hard drive, I would guess that it needs to be replaced.
Concerning your lack of a CD drive, With netbooks, a USB external DVD drive is a must have. If you don't have one, and don't have the means to get one right now, try asking around with other people who also use netbooks. They will likely own one that you can use.
