The machine has just stopped during the spin cycle and is displaying the error message E20. I've switched it off and on again and have selected other settings, but it is stuck.
I suspect a broken spinning thingy (motor?????).
Help please - all my baby's washing is stuck in there.
Hello Everyone
I have the same problem and a mechanic just fixed it. The problem was there was a sock stuck in something called coin collector it was a big sock (Gents sock) but i am still wondering how it went there but i came to know it is a common problem with these kind of machienes.
Well my suggession is it is not something you can do it on ur own he opened like 40 screws before reaching to that part where the sock was stuck. So call a mechanic and tell him you have a probem in coin collector and ask them first how much will they charge it they shouldn't charge more that $100 ( mine i had warranty so i didn't pay anything beside the tip). I hope this will help everyone that don't spend too much time on it and call the mechanic.........

Thanks for using FixYa. Error code F/H means no water was detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. It can also happen if the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash. You’ll need to Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
Hello,
E20 is a fault either in the filter/pump or drain.
The water must be drained thru. the little hose by filter or get machine to back door and undo filter plug and drain onto back step its quicker. With filter out see if any blockages, shine torch up in filter hole turn to spin/drain and see if pump blade spins if not then get long screwdriver and turn blade to free if no joy pump has to come out to free, hopefully this will work and refit plug and check for leaks. Then try again.
First, try to
reset the machine to factory settings first by
setting cycle selector to off position for 5 sec, then to spin for 5 sec,
then back to off for 5 sec, and then to spin. The machine should reset allowing
you to select the drain cycle and get the water out of the machine then
run a spin cycle to clear any remaining water before you unscrew the
filter to clear it.
Next, you need to take the filter out at the front, bottom right, of the machine, empty it of all lint and replace it. It
may have water trapped in so be ready to soak up
excess liquid! Also, make sure when you put it back in you have
tightened it enough to avoid leaking but not too much that you cannot
get it back out.
If this doesn't fix the problem, check your drain pipe hoses to make sure they are not kinked and flush them out.
zanussi error E20 suggests a pump/draining problem. remove pump/filter and clean it all out. its located at the end of the drain hose at the bottom of machine. power off. it might need replacement.
Hi Helenw,
The error message E20, simply means the filter plastic cage which is located behind the trap door bottom right side of the machine is full and needs to be cleaned out.
All the fibres and lint gets trapped in here and prevents the waste water from escaping, hence Error code E20.
Hi there, I've also had this problem a few times. I've found cleaning out the filter can help solve the problem of the E20 message. Also when it doesn't spin fast it usually means the load is uneven. I found it happens with towels or bedcovers, heavier loads, if the load is uneven it will spin slowly for a good few minutes and then just stop with the clothes still dripping. I found rearranging the load more evenly usually sorts it out.
I've had my machine for 18months now and usually love it. It washes and dries well, however, my dryer has stopped working again! I'd only had the machine 7 months when the dryer first stopped working another 11 months down the line and it's not working again!
Hope this helps. Lelly2003
Check water "forreign object trap". It's under the lid at the bottom of the machine. First drain water by pulling out the hose and pull out the plug. Then unscrew the trap. Have had this E20 error twice. First it was two coins there, next it was a big paperclip. Have worked fine ever since.
