Trying to find replacement bulb for EHD365SBR DECOR range hood. All the bulbs I've purchased are JDR E27's. They will not fit into the bulb socket in the DECOR range hood. Called DECOR and they treated me like I was stupid. But none fit the socket except the burnt out ones that came with the hood. Can someone help me here?

I too can not find a replacement bulb. the factory installed bulbs have burned out. local hardware stores do not have any in stock and on line proves too costly (over $13 per bulb!)

SOURCE: Part number for Davor IVS1

Remove the metal filter screen. Reach behind (above) the bulb and rotate/unscrew the bulb by the base and it will drop out. Place the new bulb through the hole while reaching behind to screw it in the same way you removed it. Many replacements available online for under $6 plus shipping. Search in Google for "JDR E27 75W" (My dealer had said the bulbs would cost $40!)

(2) Reach into engine compartment and locate lock ring supporting the headlamp bulb assembly.
(3) Rotate the lock ring 1/8 turn counterclockwise (Fig. 5).

Hot air function not working

If it's not addressed in your owner's manual, you will need to take the cover off the oven to find and replace it.

The owner's manual will also give you contact information for your manufacturer so you can contact them to find local or nearby parts distributors.

How do you replace the light bulbs? There is a lens cover over the bulb.

This is how to replace the lights on the KitchenAid khlu162m hood. If this is not you hood please give the right make and model # so I can get you the right info.

Replacing the Halogen
lamps:
The hood liner uses 12-volt, 20
watt halogen lamp bulbs.
Before you begin, make sure that
the range hood is turned off and
that the lamps have had sufficient
time to cool.
To replace a halogen lamp:
• Remove 2 screws from the
circular metal trim around the
lamp assembly.
• Pull the trim with the lamp
assembly attached down far
enough so that the lamp can be
pushed out of the socket clips.
• Insert the new lamp into the
socket clips and push the lamp
and trim assembly back up into
the hood.
• Replace the screws.

Good Luck and please rate 4 thumbs up for the free answer.

Trying to put the headlight assembly in

CAUTION Most headlight retaining rings and trim bezels have very sharp edges. Wear gloves. Never pry or push on a headlamp; it can shatter suddenly.

  1. On cars with pop-up or retracting headlamps, turn the ignition switch OFF. Operate the retractor switch on the dash to bring the headlight doors up. The headlights should be off when the doors are up.
  2. Remove the headlight bezel (trim).

Remove the screws securing the headlight bezel

  1. The sealed beam is held in place by a retainer and either 2 or 4 small screws. Identify these screws before applying any tools. Do not confuse the small retaining screws with the larger aiming screws. There will be two aiming screws or adjustors for each lamp. (One adjustor controls the up/down motion and the other controls the left/right motion.) Identify the adjustors and avoid them during removal. If they are not disturbed, the new headlamp should be in identical aim to the old one.
  2. Using a small screwdriver (preferably magnetic) and a pair of needle-nose pliers if necessary, remove the small screws in the headlamp retainer.

A good kitchen or household magnet placed on the shank of the screwdriver will provide enough grip to hold the screw during removal.
  1. Remove the retainer and the headlamp may be gently pulled free from its mounts. Detach the connector from the back of the sealed beam unit and remove the unit from the car.

... then unplug the connector from the back of the lamp. Be sure to transfer the rubber boot to the new lamp

To install:
  1. Place the new headlamp in position and connect the wiring harness. Remember to install the rubber boot on the back of the new lamp. Also, make sure the headlight is right-side up.
  2. Have an assistant turn on the headlights and check the new lamp for proper function, checking both high and low beams before final assembly.
  3. Install the retainer and the small screws that secure it.
  4. Reinstall the headlight trim

Dacor IVS1 Vent Hood - How to change a light bulb?

Buylighting.com, JDR120V-75W-E27CG...also comes in 50 watt. They aren't inexpensive, but if installed properly, will last a while. We have a little suction cup to take them out and put them in. It came with the range hood. If you get fingerprints on a halogen bulb, it can blow out quicker.
