Daewoo 42" DTS HD Plasma

I have owned this unit for 2+ yrs and recently the screen will simply turn-off and the green light in front goes out. I need to turn-off the power switch in the back and wait a while to resume. This has been happening more frequently lately.

Yeah, this TV has problems, look into replacing it's power supply board

Hi, my Daewoo Plasma 42"

If the power light stays green then the current absorbed by the different boards appear to be normal. If that is the case then most likely you have a bad contact in the data cables or in the mainboard.
You will need to open the tv, inspect for damage and reseat all the components then (if that doesn't fixes it, you will need to extract the mainboard and check the soldering on the board and the status of the processor.

Hi, I own a Sansui HDPDP4200 42 inch Plasma and recently it stopped powering up....When you hit the power button, the green light comes on for about 2 seconds then shuts off - No audio or video persent...

We are having the same problem with ours, the power won't turn on with remote or button on TV. Advice on here was leaking capacitator needs to be replaced. We haven't had it repaired yet but figured I would pass this along to you.

PINK SCREEN ON DAEWOO PLASMA TV

Sounds like your panel might be going out or a faulty video card. This is the first time I have heard of a solid pink screen on a plasma. Usually this happens on LCDs, though they sometimes go white and stay white, which does signal a bad panel. tv needs repair

Vertical green lines on screen

Daewoo screen in a samsung

Theoretically yes functionally no. Not unless the parts are the same, chack the model numbers of the plasma screens. If they match you can change them out, if not don't try it.
