I've had my Cannon 550 for about 6 months now and its been working very well... But the flash stopped functioning about a month ago. I can still take pictures in all the modes without flash.. but when I turn the flash on, the ready light goes on, but the picture isn't taken. Is this a problem I can fix? or should I take it to the shop?
Having the same problem, although after about a year of having it. i've come to the conclusion that the flash itself is broken, if you shake the camera you'll hear something moving around (at least that's my case) and i'm supposing it's similar to a burnt light bulb kinda thing.
so the solution would probably be to send the camera to canon itself or find someone who can replace the flash (and buy one as well). I can't do either because I live out of the US =(

Quite often you may have to do the removal and restart your PC. Once you have done that, check your registry to make sure you have removed any traces of flashplayer. Before you edit your registry, make sure you back it up first. Should something go awry, you can go back and recover to the back up registry file. Also make sure you do one product removal at a time and check that the reinstall removed all pieces.
You directed this question at me, but unfortunately I'm unable to provide you with a "real" solution at this time. FixYa has informed me that by providing you with this "solution" your question will then be made visible to other experts; hopefully one of them will be able to provide you with a real solution. It would also help if you could specify the make and model of your camera. Thank you for using FixYa.
The AC may stop working due to a refrigerant leak from the condenser - this is not uncommon in Montanas built between 2001 and 2003. GM has developed and updated condenser and mounting bracket to help prevent the replacement condenser from failing in the same manner.
I had this problem about my touch screen same with you. The touch screen on left hand has stopped working. I had it for 20 months. I live in Thailand. I think that it is the big problem for ST550. I've brought it to Samsung Customer Center. and they've introduced me to change the new touch screen. It is about USD50.00. I am bored. I used it a little bit.
Very simple solution: When the pixma mp620 screen shows error U130, Hold down the stop (red triangle) key for about 7 - 10 seconds. This overrides/turns off the ink monitoring function. The printer will begin "thinking" for a bit and then start printing. Note: you may have to do this seperately for each color. You'll also notice that when the lid is open and the cartridges are in position for changing, the cartridges that used to be "out" are no longer flashing red, nor a stead red. They are dark.
Your cooling fan sounds to have went out, causing it to overheat and shut down.It also could be something in the fan stopping it from turning.Try cleaning it or blowing it out with it off.But it mostly sounds to have went out.
