This is a died pixels problem, that means that there are some pixels on your LCD panel that are died and can no longer illuminate. This type of LCD monitor problems is hard to solve, but you can do a massage with your finger on the white dots, this can probably solve the problem.

The symptom sounds like a common problem we have found with the plasma panels called diffusion. The cure in Samsung usually is a VSCAN alignment. Since its an SPS-4243 the unit should be under warranty and is covered. Call 1-800-SAMSUNG and they will direct you to the nearest service center.

I unplugged the TV and now the picture is back.I read that the LCD's are vunerable to static build up so unless my daughter is using her TV I unplug it.
I was thinking about getting a large LCD for the family room but I'm not going to until they improve on this technology.
Good luck to everyone!.

have the store fix it you need a tech that has the right equipment to fix that. Since you say you replaced the lamp I assume you mean a LCD micro projector not an LCD Flat panel. There is a piece of equipment that a tech should have that can be plugged into the TVs circuit board and it can fix the spots with an electric pulse. I have seen in done on micro projectors in the store that i work by our techs. So my advise is have the store fix it before your warranty runs out.

This should be repairable. It may be the LVDS Cable or the Main board problem. The only other problem is the T-Con Board.
