As soon as the emachine logo comes up my cpu freeze can some 1 give me steps to fix? can not get online
Try starting it in the Safe Mode:
Right after the first text appears on the screen, start tapping either F5 or F8 to access the startup menu.
It won't have much of a selection; typically safe mode, normal and prompt only.
Choose safe mode.
Since you did not give the model number, I don't know if you have Big Fix on your machine or not, most eMachines do.
To find it, open the Start Menu, All programs, then look for the name.
If there, choose it and look at whatever error logs it has to show you.
If you don't find anything apparent there, click on Start, then All Programs, then Accessories.
Look down the list and locate System Tools, then click on System Restore.
Select 'Restore my computer to an earlier time' and then 'Next.'
You will be presented with a calendar and the dates in bold will be valid restore points.
If you have System Restore tracking disabled (it is enabled by default), well, then consider it a lesson.
This is the preferred method of restoration since it only refreshes system files and leaves your personal files untouched.
You may have to use recovery discs or download the needed installation routines from the eMachines website.
Be advised though, if you do a full reinstallation, any work you have not backed up will be gone.
If you don't have any protection against an invasion by malware, at least download and install MicroSoft Defender.
It's free and can give you a fairly decent layer of protection against some common junk.
When u power up the computer press del or F2 or F5 or F12 to enter in bios setup.then go to last option.then defaults settingd saved those .
