I have a epson photo rx620 printer. At least 10 years old. I'm running it with an iMac, os 10.x . Everything worked fine until yesterday when it refused to print. The scanner/copier feature work fine still...

You need a Driver update, go to :
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?oid=44341&BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=Downloads&platform=OSF_M_X9

where you can download the latest driver ( if the link above doesn't work for you, just go to Epson.com-Divers and Support-enter in your model #-it should show your Operating system in the box, if not, use the arrow to scroll thru until it you find what you are running and click it-Then click on the printer driver and update your driver.

I have 3 of the RX580's and have worked on the RX595's & 620's (they are exactly the same except for color) and have had this same problem after an OS update or a Driver update.
Getting the newest driver should cure your problem, although one time I actually had to revert back to an older driver for Windows XP.
Don't forget to reboot after you get the new driver.

Why is my Canon Pixma 4820 suddenly leaving lighter lines through color pictures.

Worn print head. And for what they charge for a stinking print head you can get a new printer for less with a warranty to boot!

PRINTS VERY LIGHT COLORED TEST PATTERN . WON'T PRINT DOCUMENTS OR PHOTOS AT ALL. HAVE CHECKED INK SUPPLY AND IT IS GOOD.

If running windows, go into the printer options when you hit the print button in your browser or document. Try to raise the quality to its highest levels.

I have new photo (58) and color (57) carts and when I print wallet size (9 pics per 8.5x11 photo paper) the first 3 print true color and the last 6 are blue. I have cleaned the rollers and still do not...

hello, you are using the photo color ink cart, have you tried running a cleaning cycle or test print, the reason why i ask, is that maybe 1 of the colors is not printing, the test pages would prove what color is missing, if black not printing, it would print possible blue, or no black at all. i know you have put in new inks, but since the volume of ink in these cartridges run out according to usage, one color might run out before the others, and since black and yellow are the most used colors, without them your prints will show color faults.

The color on my photo is blue on Epson printer R320

This is a common issue when printing using windows software, especially XP since SP2, my advice is always use the Epson software to print. Hope this helps

Not printing - just replaced ink cartridges

Reseat the cartridges.
Do 3 consecutive head cleanings.

Not Printing

Hi,
is there a possibility that the office 2007 downlooad was corrupt ?
This version of office, is noticably sower than previous versions, of Office.
I personally prefered Office 97, 2000 was the same, glitchy and very sluggish. it,s ok upgrading to these latest versions, providing you have the Computer specs, to match the software requirements. Hers a couple of Options.
1:- un-install the Office 2007 program, hopefully you have a version on cd of your older version ?
2:- if your running win XP, restore your computer to an earlier restore-point, before the upgrade.
This will reset your computer to how it was before the download.
3:- un-install then re-install your printer and related software/Drivers.

Printer stopped printing suddenly

Hi there , i had a similar problem with the Canon Pixma IP 5000 when hooking up a wireless network. It stopped printing & the only solution was to uninstall printer/software,reboot & install as if you were hooking up printer for the first time.Sometimes software can be a problem if not installed in the right order.I had to completely remove sound card software after installing with antivirus already running.Antivirus had to go on last for everything to work.Still fine after 3 years! Hope you get printer running on newer OS.
