Blinking MP3 When i try and play a cd all i get is "MP3" blinking on the screen and it won't play the cd...what can be wrong?

Is it an mp3 disk some cd players like this one I think does not sopport mp3 disks. (Try it another disk see if that works) ~Grim

My Victrola VTA-200B CD player isn't working properly

The player is having problems reading the CD. This can be for several reasons. Remove the CD and see if a different one has the same problem. This way you can find out if it’s the player or just the CD. Wipe off the smudges on the back of cd. If cd has too many scratches or smudges it won’t play. There can be many other reasons why it doesn’t play.

Vsonic flat screen monitor need blink codes

hi do you mean you are asking for the blinking codes on your viewsonic pc monitor?. usually lcd monitor for pc has no blinking codes, if your monitor just only a blinking indicator and won't turn on, you must check first the source from your pc if their is a signal to turn on the monitor. if just blinking only then won't turn on you must check the power supply of the monitor usually the main cause is bulging capacitor. just replace it with the same value and rating thanks for consulting the fixya good luck.

Won't play a cd. get dashes blinking across readout when trying. is this a fixable problem?

No! overtime the laser becomes weaker until it can no longer track, the only option is attempt to clean the laser pickup lens with rubbing alcohol and Q-Tip, "gently" sometimes works. If this fails! it is far cheaper to replace the player.

Possibly the laser lens is not reading the cd. check closely to see if it's black. If it is, lens is burnt. ER means error

Screen has error message and won't play tape. What is wrong?

Hi,
This message appears when the loading tape path become misaligned (mechanically unstable). Your camera just need mechanical adjustment from any expert and it will work fine again. Contact any service man for this.

Blinking want stop --- HELP!!!!

This is the worst mp3 player ever invented - i have to tell you this up front. There is no driver, the company does not support the product anymore - I would return it now while you still can.

Either the device is bad, the pc port is bad, or the software is faulty. Try connecting to different usb port, then a usb port on a different pc with a compatible os. If still not recognized, then there is physical damage to player.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
