My danze shower handle has a tub/shower diverter handle below the main handle. It used to divert water from tub to shower and back but now it does not. You can move it to either side but both tub and shower water comes out at the same time (one doesn't shut off). How to fix this?

SORRY, ITS SO.... BUT GOOD FOR YOU THIS ISN'T MY FIRST RODEO... TELL YOUR HUSBAND TO ADD THIS TO HIS NEVER ENDING TO-DO LIST: YOU CAN ADD A SHOWER HEAD VALVE WHICH DEPENDING ON YOUR FINISH ONLY COSTS ABOUT 15 DOLLARS AND TAKES 2 MINUTES TO INSTALL. I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE ON MY DANZE VENETIAN BRONZE TUB AND SHOWER FAUCET FOR THE EXACT SAME REASON. YOU SIMPLY REMOVE THE SHOWER HEAD, THEN ADD THE VALVE, THEN ATTACH THE SHOWER HEAD TO THE VALVE. ADJUST FOR THE DESIRED PRESSURE. SORRY HUBBIE
SOURCE: how do you tighten or remove handle on a danze
Not to familar with faucet itself, but on most shower faucet's, there is a screw that holds it on. Most of the time there is a plastic face plate on the front of the handles, you pop that off and the screw is beneath, as you loosen you have to hold the handle in place, otherwise as you loosen the screw it will turn the water on.
Other fauet handles will have a set screw , usually on the bottom side of the handle body,( the part of the handle closest to the shower wall, either a small flat head or allen wrech should be all you need. good luck.
