Question about Gateway VX 1100 (White) 21 in.CRT Conventional Monitor
My XA7-192i Xerox monitor is LCD screen not a CRT tube. Degaussing does not work with LCD type monitors.

First of all, go here: http://www.lacie.com/support/manuals/index.htm and download the PDF manual for the electron22blueIV. Open it and go to page 20. At the bottom, there is a section titled, Corner Purity Control. Using the onscreen display menu (OSD), you can fine tune the color of any corner. DON'T EVEN CONSIDER USING A POWERFUL MAGNET. THAT'S JUST RIDICULOUS AND DANGEROUS TO YOUR EQUIPMENT. TOM PS - I've included a screenshot of the instructions for speed's sake.

SOURCE: COLOR ISSUE
this sounds like a pixel problem, you might have to buy a new monitor or see if that one still has a waranty.

as it has fallen on the floor
due to that its deflection coil position might have changed a little.
due to that its left corner has gone down.
deflection coil has convergence magnet on it so due to that there is change in color also.
please call tech to re position of deflection coil every thing will be fine as it was.
as per buying another it is up to you.
hope this will help.
