Question about Philips 55PW9363 55" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Ive read a few problems already posted up and I think my problem is probably the same as the others. A few convergence points are way off and are not adjustable. All the problem points are in two areas at opposite corners. It seems to have happened all of a sudden rather than a gradual move. If these are the ICs, how easy is it to replace them? Are these tine SM units or are they easy to take off and solder back. I have some electronis experience and do some PCB stuff at my work so I am not afraid to melt most things.
Oh boy if you only knew this tv looks like the chassis made by hitachi it has the standard stk392-110 ics in it replace both of them and the associated low ohm flameproof resistors just the ones that are burned or open after that if the convergence can be lined up in the customer menu get on your knees and thank the lord cuz theres only one thing worse than a hitachi service convergence to the uninitiated thats a hitachi service convergence using the phillips remote gl
