How do I remove/install color wheel/balast on a samsung hl-p5063w

I have no picture. when I turn it on , only get lights blinking. in the start button. Plus there is a humming sound that I used to get intermittntly befor this happened, once it started the only way I could get rid of it was to shut the tv off for awhile, sometimes that would work for awhile ...sometimes not. In addition to no pic there is no sound now.

We just replaced our color wheel and it took about 2 hours.  We used this site because it was the only one that somewhat resembled our TV http://guides.fixyourdlp.com/samsung/bp96-01579a.php  Our TV had a loud humming noise and no picture.  We also had to replace the bulb.  Hope this helps.

HL-P5063W Turns on, but no picture.

remove and inspect the lamp the model indicated uses---you can usually also look from the rear to see if lamp comes on at all---set also prone to bad color wheel--grinding or high pitched fan like sound--it faces the lamp--with lamp removed look to see it is not shattered or missing pieces and that lamp not shattered inside.

My problem is: samsung hl-p5063w. I have a new lamp and it works fine. The fans work all right. The color wheel works well. But no picture, only the screen is black. Low light without image. The timer...

I'm not a tech person, but from what I have learned it sounds like your digital board (input) connections. Try diffrent connections to see if you get a picture.

If you are using a coax cable for your input, try the rca type input. If you still get no picture after trying diffrent inouts, it may just be the digital input board. Again Im not a TV specialist, just sort of informed from the net.

HAS SOUND BUT NO PICTURE

okay the reason that the its turning off could be the fan isnt spining fast enoug hold your hand at the back of the tv to feel where the exhaust air if isnt good enough to help cool off the bulb then the fan may need to be replaced also the balast could be going bad and last check the power supply that feeds the balast make sure its a constant dc voltage

I just replaced the lamp on my samsung HL-P5063W (DLP TV)...now the TV will not turn on (no picture...but I do get sound)...when I plug it in, it automatically starts to power on...then it starts making...

Sounds like a bad color wheel. Generally when the color wheel goes bad, when you try and turn the TV on the lamp will ignite for a couple seconds and then turn off. It also makes a rather high pitch squealing noise.

No picture after replacing color wheel

every time I see this itbis a cable or plug that was left out or one that got pulled on and pulled the connector up out of the plug a little, you need, and not by sight by your hands to go over every plug and connector till you find one.

Replaced lamp, tightened back plate, but lamp light still flashing and no picture.

A Blinking Lamp LED is the most common failure indication. It can be caused by a bad lamp, a bad Ballast, Color Wheel not operating, Fans not turning, or even other defective Boards. I would suspect the Ballast or fan first though.
Hope this helps,
