TV Screen Goes Fuzzy Every 10 Seconds

So yesterday its working well. Today the Nintendo 64 is faulty?.. I have had this unit sinnce 1996... So Its all plugged in and correctly set up to AV etc.. Once I turn the console on, after 10 seconds, the tv screen from the bottom starts to go fuzzy, and follows up the screen and becomes cleare again... But for only another 10 Seconds. Then it repeats this never ending cycle. I have tried my own process of illimination.. 1. Un-plugged Stereo Av Leads, leaving Yellow Video AV only = Not Successful 2. I have disconnected the controller = Not Successful 3. I have plugged the power cord into a different Power Point =Not Successful 4. I have changed games over = Not Successful 5. I have tried hitting the console and turning it upside down while plugged in = Not Successful Do you have any suggestions? - Hope So ! :) Thank you in Advance Ally

Try using the av cables for N64 instead of using the rf switch then.

You need to hook the console into an actual av port on the tv rather than a switcher

SOURCE: New, second hand Nintendo 64

its the actual connector piece. The coaxile connectors (the ones you plug into the antenna port on the tv suck) you need to get a rca connector cable (the one with the red, white, and yellow) yellow is video the mose important one. the red and white doesnt matter if you mix them up

My nintendo 64 is not working on my tvs

Well it might be the av cable or the rf switch which one you are using might be causing the problem or it might need a new expansion pack then.

My nintendo 64 won't work. The red light goes on but nothing happens on the tv screen, it just stays blue. :/ wtf should I do? I've already blew on everything I can think of and wiggled the cartridge...

Well its a power supply failure symptom a blue screen is then. when games or other applications are using the computer steadily, it will turn off or I get a blue screen.

System shows a fuzzy green screen on startup for ten seconds, then goes blank. red light is on for the duration. This happens regardless of if a cartrige is in or not

Well the green screen has to do with the power supply wire inside of the console that shows the power on the screen is wearing out and needs to be replaeced.
