Re: dishwasher not draining and 3 lights are flashing
Check this thread for starters
the solution to the leak would depend on where you think it is leaking from - usual areas to check are the door seal, door latch, inlet and drain hoses and where they connect, the base especially towards the back.
also make sure the drain pipe the dishwasher is connected to is not blocked - sometimes leaks from in the machine can be traced to this cause.
Hope this helps, post again if you find anything and hopefully we can help more :)

Page 26 shows blinking Heavy light means there is leakage in the dishwasher. Most likely there is water in the base under the drain sump which could cause the flood switch to trip. Turn mains power to dishwasher off. Pull it out from under kitchen bench without breaking the hoses. Put some towels on the floor and turn dishwasher back and forth on incline to get water out. Wait a little and turn on. If no difference then you need to dry the base and find the source of the leak. More likely the door seal.
You will find that the flood switch will be operating due to the leak, it will most likely be from one of 2 places: 1. Around the door seal, Give it a clean and check for splits/damage, and make sure screws on door hinges are tight. 2. Check the rollers that screw onto the inside of the dishwasher cabinet, The screws on these can come loose and cause water to run down into the base, check they are tight. Hopefully this helps.

Depress start button till start light goes out. Close door, drain pump should run for a while. Wait for end of program, rer-try a new program start. without a brand or model number its hard to be sure, but some types have a float cut out switch inside the washer. Its on the bottom inside and kind of resembles a plastic mushroom. The top should lift up and down easily. detergent will clog it up and keep it from moving. Just clean all the soap caked on it and move it up and down to see it it pushes a little switch underneath.
Miele have a safety float switch in the bottom of the machine. (The float is a polystyrene disc). If the machine leaks for any reason, then the water sits in the bottom tray raises the float switch & all your dishwasher will do is activate the drain pump and flash those red lights at you. The reason is that somewhere under the machine there is a leak that needs to be investigated & repaired so in this instance I'm affraid that you will have to call a serviceman.
First the source of the leak needs to be identified. pull the machine out from under the counter and remove the left side panel exposing the blue float assembly. Turn the machine on and observe the fill cycle. if water comes out anywhere on the fill mechanism then the inlet valve needs to be replaced. once the machine has filled and begun to cycle cancel the program and drain the unit. observe closly where the leak is happening. a leak during drain usually indicated a leaking drain hose.
