Question about GE EasyCam Webcam

Ge easy cam model number HO98063

Usb cable plugs in and turns on webcam, but it wont work cuz i dont have it installed, so how do i install it without cd cause i lost the disk..

When you get to the page where the driver is click on the name of file to the left of the word (DRIVER)

if you bought a webcam..there must be a small CD for the webcam driver.
if there is a hardware ..it needs driver to perform its work.
if you dont have webcam drivers CD ask the vendor.

I've lost my cd drive and I want to install my webcam now
If the software comes on a CD-ROM disk,
borrow a friend's computer, and copy the files onto a USB memory-stick. Then, connect that memory-stick to your computer, and install from this copy of the disk.

Plug the camera in -- Windows will ask you if it is allowed to connect to the Windows Update web-site, to automatically find, download, and install the the correct software. Say "yes, this time".

Webcam won't work even though i have installed program with cd

I agree with them, sometimes things lika that happens, and the latest bid windows update, the SP3, messed up a lot of computers.

I still dont understand why you talking to KODAK when you have an VIBRA CAM, vibra cam is a creative cam, KODAK has nothing to do with that cam as far as i know.
I took the liberty and looked on creative for your cam and there are none updates for that model, its the drivers on the cd you have that you shall use. This is what creative syas on their site for the Vibra Cam:

"Cameras which do not link to drivers or applications currently do not have an update available on the download site. Check the installation CD supplied with the camera for operating systems drivers and applications available"

So my friend and desparate mom, dont talk to KODAK anymore, thats waste of time, if you need to talk to a tecnitian, talk to the people on creative, bur im surre they will give you the same answer as i did.

If you dont mind, i suggest you buy a new cam, they are cheap and they are up to date so to say. Your children will be happyer whit a new cam that gives them a better resolution, a better oicture and more easy to handle then that old one you have.

donot worry if you lost the cd
you can download the installation software from internet .
you can download it from this website ,http://www.labtec.com/index.cfm/service/listing/AMR/EN,crid=68,crid2=1764
.
select the type of your operating system
chose the type of language
then,click on download .
install the same software on your pc & start workin with your webcam.stay cool.

Go to jascoproducts.com and view their webcams in the shopping cart and then go to the drivers they have listed online under the Support tab.
