2135us will not recognize memory upgrade

The reason it won't work with PC2700 ram is because it isn't supposed to. PC2100 is the fastest ram it can use.

What's the maximun of ram memory that compaq presario 6025ea can admit?

This is an older model computer, and therefore it can't utilize the large amount of RAM that more current models can.

The Presario 6025EA has two DIMM slots and comes with 256MB of RAM installed. The maximum amount of RAM that can be installed is 1GB. To upgrade to this, you will need two 512MB DDR-266 (PC2100) RAM modules.

I have a compaq presario cq60-215dx notebook pc, was wondering how do i go about upgrading the RAM?

I have checked the Compaq Presario CQ60-215DX Specification It Originally has 2GB Memory and supports upto 4GB RAM max. If you intend to upgrade the RAM, you can buy additional RAM and put them in you system. Here is the HP Guide to Replace RAM and How to Upgrade RAM Guide
Compaq Presario CQ60-215DX has two RAM slots for DDR-2 (533 or 667) Memory Modules. First you have to check that the RAM slot is available for additional RAM. I believe that it has two modules of 1GB each in both slots. So, you have to get two modules of RAM 2GB each to upgrade to 4GB (or one 2GB RAM module to upgrade to 3GB). Hence, it is recommended that you get 2GB replacement module for each 1GB module you have on you system from local laptop repair/ service center, which would be cost effective as existing 1GB RAM Modules would be useless for you upon upgrade.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Good Luck!
Appreciate generously, if the solution could have been of any help!

I wish to add RAM in the PC. Mine motherboard-Epox-EP-4BDA533(I). ID(identification)-05/09/2003-i845d-6A69VPA8C-00. On it costs RAM 256Mb -DDR PC2100 266Mg FSB-400Mg. How many Mb it is possible to add....

Q: What memory goes into my computer, and will a faster speed be backward-compatible?
A: DDR memory with support for DDR PC2700,DDR PC3200 speeds.
Because DDR memory is backward-compatible, you can safely upgrade your system with any of the guaranteed-compatible DDR speeds listed below, even if your manual calls for PC1600 or PC2100 speeds.

A: 2048MB.
Adding the maximum amount of memory will improve performance and help extend the useful life of your system as you run increasingly demanding software applications in the future.
Q: Do I have to install matching pairs?
A: No.
No, you can install modules one at a time, and you can mix different densities of modules in your computer. But if your computer supports dual-channel memory configurations, you should install in identical pairs (preferably in kits) for optimal performance.
Q: Does my computer support dual-channel memory?
A: No.
Your system does not support dual channel.
Q: Does my computer support ECC memory?
A: Yes.
Your system supports ECC. You can put non-ECC modules into an ECC system, but be sure not to mix ECC and non-ECC modules within a system. Install the same type of modules that are already in your system.

Compaq presario 6310ca not able to upgrade memory more then 512mb

Hello sir, hi, your compaq can handle 1.0 gb of ram using pc2100 ddr sdram, If the modules cannot be detected, clean the Memory slots with a clean paint brush, and the ddr gold foil cleaned with an eraser. Make sure when you snag it on the slot, you hear clicks. for more info check out this website: http://www.memorystock.com/CompaqPresario6310CA.html
Do the cleaning and eraser several times, If still nothing happens, check out your memory module, they may be bad.

Memory upgrade

Well...digging through HP's web page is always fun...;-)

but it looks like you've got the wrong memory. You should only use PC2100 DDR-266 MHz or higher RAM, according to HP.
(You can find the manual here.)
Sometimes the so-called "Memory Finder" on vendor's pages give you the wrong information. If that is the case (and it's their fault), talk to them and try to exchange it to the correct modules.
