Brother IntelliFAX 560 Plain Paper Fax Logo

Question about Brother IntelliFAX 560 Plain Paper Fax

1 Answer

Digital phone service

I dont think the digital phone service is the issue but it is merely a coincidence that I just began having this problem. The indicator blinks back and forth from enter the fax number or enter amount of copies...it doesnt accept any input from any button. I have tried to unplug, and plug in elsewhere. Left in unplugged for weeks...didnt change anything. How do I reset ? How can it be fixed if it wont respond to ANY buttons ?

Sound to me that the copy button maybe stuck slightly this will explain way none of the other buttons will work. I suggest to spray a anti-static cleaner onto the control panel allow to soak for abot 20-30 seconds then wipe clean. Of course the machine should be off while you do this.

Failing the above try unscrewing the control panel and cleaning from within. If this still doesn't work then the likely hood is that the control panel if faulty and will need replacing and unfortunately this out ways the cost of the machine unless you can obtain a second hand one.

Hope this is help to you
Thanks J

D80 LCD not responding and Focusing Issue

If you were not half-pressing the shutter button when you turned on the camera, then you may need to have this problem serviced.

LCD being unresponsive also seems like a servicing type problem.

I don't think your shutter count of 5000 is an issue as I know a lot of people with more shutter counts who do not face this issue. Its likely that the cam was dropped or exposed to the elements so it needs to be serviced
