Not Charging Evrytime i go to charge the phone a message comes up saying 'charging' but straight after that it says 'not charging'. I have tried different chargers too. I assume there is a problem with the charging mechanism, is there any cheap solution? Can i fix it myself?

I forgot to mention that i tried a new battery and the same problem occured - waste of bloody cash that was!

U take a sand paper try to scrup at tiny metal that it join battery and phone.maybe you battery connetion is rusty.clean it

I cannot get my straight talk phone to come on after charging it

Hello, sounds like either your power cord/charger isn't working or your battery in your phone is bad. Try taking the battery out for at least 2 mins or more and put back in and try charging. If no of this works, and u bought the phone from straight talk, call cust support for straight talk or the manufacturer of the phone, they will walk you thru trouble shooting and get your phone fixed for you.

Iphone charging

Are you charging with usb? Sometimes it doesnt get enough pwer over usb so you may use the ac plug instead. If you experience that too, just leave it connected to the pc thru usb for sometime. Pls turn it off first. it could come up anyway.

Iphone will not charge

First Option:
mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems...
just try the following..
connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)...
found out whether it is charging or not...
if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)...
if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger
Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging
IF Charging Problem not Solved So

Second Option:
Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC
And charging Problem will Solved Quickly

After charger is inserted , charging lights come on and battery indicater shows that is charging . After some time , an hour or so , a charging error message appears and says to stop charging . I purchased...

this problem was relating to your phones charging ic to solve this problem please change the charging IC WITH THE HELP OF A HARDWARE MECHANIC

Trying to charge battery. Handset messages says " battery can not be charged, must use a sony ericsson battery" Am using battery supplied with phone from Sony Ericsson!!!!

Thse batteries often have "smart electronics" within them that track the charging and discharging.

LIKELY that electronics has failed.

To minimize expense, if possible I would take it to a phone store and have them try a new battery so if that doesn't fix it you are not out thee expense.

If a new battery won't fix it, the phone is probably beyond serviceability.

Phone not charging properly

Hello,

This is most likely going to be a charger problem.

I would suggest that you try charging the phone with another good, working charger of the same type.

If it charges it very well, then you can just buy a new charger for your phone.

But if it still shows the same error, try and change your phone battery and test it with another good battery.

One of these two is definitely going to be the problem.

Error messages

1. Is there a SIM card in the phone? Is the SIM card from the same carrier/provider you got the phone from? Was the phone purchased as part of a plan or separately?

2. I see the not charging message a lot with my v551 that I had. I usually adjusted the inserted connector (after insertion) and 85% of the time, the phone recognized the power coming through.

If this fails, then try another power adapter. If after trying a new power adapter does not work, then the pins on the phone has sustained some damage.
