Printing Whenever I print using color, the entire item comes out pink. It seems as if though the colors are not mixing correctly, even after getting the printhead changed twice.

it depends, either the printer is faulty or has a modified color shceme loaded or the monitor is not displaying true colors but inhanced colors. try to first use one of the online screen calibration test to verify the colors on your monitor are correct if so then check the color scheme on the printer.

It seems your yellow color is not function correctly. Need to check yellow color feed and its linkage to deliver ink to your paper. Looks like it almost clog up that cause very light color in your paper. Again please check completely your color feeds.

Could be the communication between the printer and the computer...(operating system or driver) or, it could be the ribbon cable that connects to the print head. or, it could be the connection where the cartridge connects to the printer, may be dirty. Get some long Q-tips and some alcohol and get in there and clean it. (don't clean up any necessary white grease that keeps it lubricated though)

Printer manufacturers design their printers to print some color mixed in with the black when you are only printing black. That is why your color cartridge is running out when you only print black and why it prints "weird colors" when the color cartridge is empty. Printer manufacturers sell the printers at a loss and make up the profit on the cartridges.

Color print qualities issues

Perhaps you've tried, but check to see if your printer is printing color using the PS driver or the PCL driver. If you are using the PS driver the colors will not print correctly, but this is the best mode to print black and white since it will save your drum life and print faster.
