Can't send or receive MMS messages

Phone Info:
Samsung Blackjack II
Phone/PDA version: i617UCGK2
H/W version: REV0.3
Windows Mobile 6 Std. CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)
Service: AT&T/Cingular

Problem:
Unable to send MMS (pictures). Text messages work OK. When sending a picture as MMS getting "ERROR: Unable to connect". I have verified all profile settings are correct from the AT&T web site. However, I have other settings such as "Proxy, AT&T WAP" that I'm not entirely certain of.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

That's interesting. I have the phone configured for Google email and have been getting around by sending/receiving the pictures as attachments. I thought I already had the PDA data package in order to do this.

false, i also work for att. i change these features everyday and customer does not have to have the pda package. with blackjacks, this is a major problem and a system issue. a few windows based phones that we carry have this problem. the blackjack 2 is one of the main phones with this issue and even i cant figure this out. and im the techy of the store. im not saying im the professional here but i know this fact.

I have an original blackjack and I am having problems sending picture messages as well. The only thing I have changed is that I recently added unlimited texts family plan.

I work in TSD for ATT , and from multiple cases like this , customer do not know that ATT requires that all PDA phones do require a PDA data package , without this you will not be allowed to send or receive MMS messages.

My unlocked for tmobile samsung flight ii will not send or recieve picture messages how do I fix this?

You need to configure internet and MMS settings on your phone to be able to send/receive multimedia messages.

Normally, the service provider sends these data as a SMS once you power on the device for the first time with the new sim card in it.

If you didn't received any, contact your service provider( in your case, it is T-Mobile ) and ask them to send the configuration settings or you may need to go to a T mobile service outlet.

My unlocked for tmobile samsung flight ii will not send or recieve picture messages how do I fix this?

If the phone is an AT&T branded device, even if it is unlocked, you will need to contact T-Mobile technical support and get their MMS/GPRS settings for your device. Right now you have the incorrect settings in the phone so it is unable to communicate through data services with the network. They should be able to provide you with this information.

Can't receive picture messages or send them on my Samsung Tocco Lite

Hi,
I guess you are talking about Multimedia message (MMS) which can be used to send and receive pictures. MMS is a network operator secific features and so please call up your mobile service customer care and request them to activate MMS service to your mobile subscription. Then you need to receive and settings for MMS in your mobile phone. After that you can send and receive MMS. Contact your network operator for the cost of MMS.

I hope this is useful to you.
Thanks

Sending pic messages

you can go to your messages, select settings, select mms and configure your mobile phones multimedia profiles. once configure, try sending a photo on your own mobile number (creating an mms and sending it your own phone) once you received the mms, your phone is ready to send and received. you may want to configure the rest of the settings for mms for your own liking.

regards.
