Everythign seems to working on my device but there isn't anything on the screen. The light is on but no station information, no channel listings, etc. I can change the channel but I have to hope I typed it right because I'm operating blind. And I can't figure out who's singing! Please let me know what you think the deal is. Thanks...
I emailed Delphi the other day about repair centers. They believe that service will be available soon. They say to check their website every so often for updates. www.shopdelphi.com/consumers/ In the meantime I really broke the radio so I can't check the battery contacts.
I had this same problem. I took out the lithium battery rubbed off the contacts and inserted it. Scrren came up clear as a bell and works fine now. I was also having a problem with the battery charging. Think what I did solved both problems.

The first place I would look is to the screen lighting mechanism. To prove the display is actually working, you should be able to catch a reflection of very dim images on the screen in bright light.
Hope this is of some use to you.
When this happens the first thing you should do is check the connections to the LCD screen. However if it was working fine before this is most likely not necessary since they have to be connected properly to show anything. After that you would need to replace the LCD or the Logic board. If everything else is working properly then the problem is more than likely the LCD needs to be replaced.
it seems to me that the hard drive drivers are not working on the hard drive so for it is time to replace the hard drive and reinstall windows.I had the same problem with the sound card, wifi one time and then the screen keep going blank and I replaced the hard drive and reinstalled windows and now the computer works just fine.

Vivitar was purchased by Sakar and they do not support anything that Vivitar used to make or carry any of the products. I suggest looking on ebay to see if anyone is auctioning it. If not, Google it for something like "Vivitar DVR 390H docking station".
But to be honest, it probably is not the docking station. I have had the same problem, as many others have had, that the connector in the camera is the issue. This camera has TONS of design flaws.
