Operating Instructions Required for Oven

I have just moved into a rented property which has a Belling Oven installed but I can't work out how to use the timer / clock. Is there any instructions I can download. The oven is a Belling Synergie model XOU252SS type FM 60-2. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks James

SOURCE: How do I find the model number on belling synergie oven?

I have the same problem. I have inherited a Belling Synergie multifunction double oven. The Model No is worn out - yet there is a specification 492SS which isn't. I am going to purchase the element with this number and hope this works.

SOURCE: can't get my belling oven to work

Press & hold both the 'Cook Time' and 'Stop Time' buttons together and, while holding both of them down, press either the + or - button (this is the way to set the time of day). Release all buttons simultaneously. This should enable the cooking functions to operate.

SOURCE: fan oven option not functioning on main oven

On my Belling it was the oven multi function switch that was faulty. I replaced it - carefully (lots of coloured wires) and it works fine now. Hope this helps

Westinghouse oven pof668 in auto mode - how do I get it out of auto mode (am renting this property). Oven and grill are not working as power was off until recently

Most models won't work when on Auto. Generally there are push buttons under the clock and one has a picture of a hand (Like a cop holding up his hand to say "Stop"). Press this button and it should go back to manual mode and allow you to use the oven.

What I have said so far is pretty much a guess, based upon experience. I'm also guessing that you don't have a manual to refer to either. However, w
hile I can't find the specific manual for your model, there is a westinghouse oven manual here:

http://manuals.appliancesonline.com.au/westinghouse-dualfuel-ovens/westinghouse_duelfuel_ovens_manual.pdf

and I would bet that the clock setting instructions on page 18 are exactly the same for your appliance!

If the fan is working o/k, then there is little doubt that the oven element has failed.
This is quite common with fan assisted ovens.
The element is usually located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

Minimum 30" from cooking surface is general guideline, check with your installation instructions, for liability and insurance purposes, if you do not, and something happens, you may not be covered. Follow specifications
