I replaced "Off - Low - Med - High" knob on Maxi Heat oil filled heater Model OH-107c with a Camco 00913 Knob (Purchased at Amazon.com for $7.03 including shipping - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KKOE4I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - Blue insert fits snug - Had to remove 3 small tabs on cover that are related to 'stops' for original knob. Five minute repair and heater works again. (Side Note: I called manufacturer and they told me the heater had been discontinued for 9 years so they had no parts).

Maxiheat oil heater

How old is it and has it had lots of continual use?
If it's old and you've used it a lot I'd suspect corroded wires. I've fixed many of these all with the same problem. The wires corrode to the point where they just fall away from where they were attached. I've seen switches get brittle and break apart and thermostats go bad.
Take the cover off a look at the ends of each wire. I just replace them when the ends don't look so good. Make sure you use the same gauge or thicker wires with high-temp insulation.
If it's not very old I'd look for a fuse and check it.

Have Maxiheat wood fire heater and have no installation specifications at hand. No other name or brand is on this item except pleat underneath with: max output 15 kilowatts. heater conforms to the...

Maxiheat wood heaters are manufactured by Norseman and exclusive to Australia. From my research, they are sold almost exclusively in Australia, by Barbeques Galore. However, there are no online manuals to download. So, I would recommend contacting the local Barbeques Galore store in your area. I suspect they can help you with obtaining an Owners Manual and Installation Instructions.

The specifications you listed are for the Blower Motor. Not the wood heater/stove.

Hope this helps you find what you need.

How does the fan operates, does it starts and stop. Car shuts down, red light come near milage guage, have to let car cool down and start again. Can fan cause this problem? Pontiac Gran Am 1998.

the cooling fan should come on about 105-107C and shut off about 95-97C
does the car overheat just sitting running not moving
but if the car overheats on the highway then it's not the fan
check the fan operation run the car till the gauge is over half and watch the fan
if the fan woks then check coolant level if that's ok then try a thermostat
hope
