Sony Camcorder Hdr Fx1 C 31 22

It displays the error code c:31:22 at the end of every tape, the last 10 minutes. Also if the last 10minutes of the tape are recorded playback wont be posible, most likely recorded with errors.

Canon charge light blinks 7 times

If your Sony camcorder displays a tape transport or mechanical error code always try resetting the camcorder. This is done by removing the battery or ac power, wait 10 seconds, reapply the battery or ac power and try again. If it still goes into error try another tape. The camcorder will not always display an exact error code. Sometimes you may see an error message such as, "Reinsert the cassette", on the LCD screen. This is the camcorders way of saying, "Take the tape out and try again." Try reloading the same tape as well as a new tape. If the camcorder is still going into error this means it is time to send it in for service or repair.
The camcorder may also sometimes display a "Reattach Power Source." This is the camcorders way of saying,"Try resetting my system,so I can try again." Many people mistaken this error and think they have a problem with the battery or ac adapter. This is not true and has nothing to do with your battery or ac adapter. Reset the camcorder by removing the battery or ac power, wait 10 second, reapply the battery or ac power. If the error reappears the unit needs to be serviced or repaired.

Cassette deck will not close

Deck assy will need to be repaired or replaced. The only other thing that you can try (before taking it somewhere) is to unplug the camcorder from any type of power source, leave it unplugged for about 10 minutes, and try again. Also, make sure that your tape is not damaged in any way. www.austintelstarservices.com

I have a Sony PDX-10 and it's giving me two blinking yellow symbols (underlinded triangle and tape with line through it) when I fire it up loaded with a tape. Tried changing with tapes that work fine in...

Hello,
Looking at PDX 10 User Manual Page 232

Your description -

Under lined Triangle

Cassette Ejection needed
Slow Flashing: The Write protect tab exposed

Fast Flashing: Moisture Condensation
Cassette out of tape
Self diagnosis display function activated

Sounds like the diagnosis function maybe your best shot......
Check displayed error codes in viewfinder on Page 231 of the User Manual or let me know if you dont have copy of them.

Tape Symbol Flashing:

Tape near end
No cassette inserted
The write protect tab exposed.

I think this is basically telling you the loading mechanism has a problem, the viewfinder is displaying an error code indicating the nature of the fault..... IF error Code is : E61:........ or E62........ (dots indicate extra numbers) these MUST be referred to Sony Service Centre.

Hope this may help

Have E:61:10 flashing up on screen. cannot find it in manual. can you help. Sony hdr-cx520ve

error code alerts user for malfunctions detected by the camera. the error E:61:10 would pertain to the zoom mechanism malfunction. issue may be with with lens block zoom MR sensor or zoom motor drive circuit. 1st step troubleshooting steps would be to reset camcorder (check manual for reset button location) and power reset (remove battery and leave camcorder w/o any power source for a minute). if still the same then service would be required. hope this info helps. thanks.

I get a error code 30:23 on my HDR HC3 and it won't play or

Sony is pretty secretive about the :23 code. It can't be found anywhere. Sony recommends you do the following:
  1. Turn off the camcorder.
  2. Remove the battery or disconnect the AC power adapter for 120 seconds.
  3. Insert the battery or reconnect the AC adapter.
  4. Turn on the camcorder.
  5. If the error message appears, service may be required.

Camera LCD screen

Perform the following troubleshooting steps and check whether it helps;
1. Check whether the issue persists with all the tapes. If the issue persists with a particular tape, the issue is with the tape. change the tape. 2. Check whether the battery is fully charged, 3. If the batteruy is nit fully charged, connect the Camcorder to the wall outlet using the supplied AC adaptor. 4. Then, reset the Camcorder by pressing the RESET button using a sharp-pojnted object while it is turned ON.
5. If the issue still persists, remove the battery pacjk and disconnect the Camcoredr from the wall outlet; then slide the power switch to ON position for at least 30 seconds. Then reconnect the AC adaptor to the Camcorer after 1 minute.
If the issue still persists, service may be requuired. Please cointact ur Camcorder manufacturer to get it serviced.

daer
this error C:31:23 is related to the s reel and this occurs only when the tension of the tape is more,
solution:
1 st try to change the tape
if the problem persists then u need to take it to the service center as the tape path of the mechanical section is to be adjusted
as you are telling that your camcorder is not showing remaining time (time code ) then head assy. also need to be cleaned ..try to use cleaning tape for 10 sec. not more then that .

HDR-HC1 Sony camcorder- reinsert the cassette error message

Bill,

The problem is with the S-reel. Take the tape out, remove the battery, and give it a slight bump. This usually fixes the issue for a couple of weeks. I haven't heard of any permenant fixes. I took my cam into circuit city (before they closed) twice for the same issue. Very frustrating when you don't know what the issue is.
