My mixer powered down on it's own in the middle of a party and i can't figure out why. tried everything. i can hear a relay click on the inside when i hit the power button and a slight hum from inside but thats about it. i don't know if this helps but it is rated at 120 volts ac and has no voltage switch on the rear. is there any advice you can give me?

Pioneer DJM 600 mixer keeps blowing ic 557 fuse on power supply board

I repair DJM 600 for many years. :) The reason for the burning of IC 557 (+8V H 600mA ) is invalid amplifier for headphones!!!
Replace IC 310 and IC 312 (in big mainboard), and replace
IC 557with original fuse 600mA
!!!!!CHECK YOUR HEADPHONES!!!!!! This is the cause burning amps.!!!!!

How do i fix my pioneer djm 500 mixer when i changed the voltage while the power supply was in. without looking at the back of the mixer where it said "caution do not change voltage while power supply is...

Just done the same thing. Remove the screws on the top of the
case and then all knobs, faders etc. One you have exposed the
inside of the mixer you will see a fuse where the power enters the
case. Replace the fuse with a 800ma 20mm fuse and this will fix it.

The right side on my pioneer DJM 600 (effects do not work)

Hiya,

If you are confident with opening up the mixer, do so, and check the ribbon cable which goes from the effects switch board to the main PCB in the middle of the unit. Check it is secure and hasn't come loose with movement or vibration. If it is all secure, and still not working, you will need to send it for repair to your local service centre / tech friend :)

Pioneer djm 600

There is a master gain volume control on the rear of the mixer, where you connect everything. Make sure it's not down.

If it's fine, then maybe them being outside caused an issue. How cold is cold? If your talking freezing, then maybe there is some issues with the solder on the pc boards. You'll have to take it to a service center at this point.

I would say, try connecting a CD player to all the channels, and try from there. If it's still the same, then you need professional help.

Pioneer DJM-600 black Professional DJ power on but not working!! i check bouth the fuses and are working i can see that is power in te mixer but no answer with any signal of leds or music signal

So you get power to the unit, but no sound coming out? How about through the headphones, do you get sound coming out of the headphones?

Are all the volumes and gains raised up? All the eq's are up? Check the back of the mixer, there is a master gain volume - where the connections are - make sure this is up also.

If nothing, then you'll need professional help at this point.
