Question about Xerox Phaser 8550DP Printer

Printer error meaning

After being turned on, my printer starts a "cleaning" procedure (which takes about 1 minute to complete), at the end of which it displays: Printer Error Press ?: 07,010.43:1022 For the latest information, go to www.xerox.com/office or contact your local service provider. I have no idea what this error code means, nor where to look it up. Help And thanks...

    Thanks Tomj23
    I managed to get my printer out of the problem: I turned the printer on and waited until it reported the error or reached a ready state; then I turned it off.
    I repeated the above procedure twice in a row, and on the 3rd time it printed the opening page successfully. It's been now an entire day without problems.
    My guess is that some ink dried between two parts and those got stuck together; turning the printer on and off reheated the internal parts causing the ink to melt, and consequently releasing the parts.
    Just a wild guess...
    In any case, I wanted to thank you for your response !

I found a couple of references to the error ?07,010.43?, it?s a generic message with lots of possible causes. Xerox?s official web site says to turn your printer off a contact their technical support. I did find one reference that said for them it turned out to be a wiper assembly stuck between the print head and the roller. I?ve never owned a Xerox printer (I?m an HP guy) so I can?t help you beyond that. Xerox?s support site for the phaser series is here: http://www.office.xerox.com/color-printers/phaser-8500-8550/sprt-enus.html

Washing machine E32 error
  • the washing machine flashes "end" at the end of the programme

This is not a fault. The unbalanced load detection system has interrupted the spin cycle because the laundry is unevenly distributed. Distribute small and large items of washing in the drum. If required, spin the laundry once more.

How can i fix Epson Printer Error Code 0x97?

There does not appear to be a single solution that always fixes this error message. For some users, procedures for cleaning the nozzles works. For others, switching the particular software program you are attempting to print with works. For a considerable number, contacting epson about your warranty (a year) yields a replacement printer being shipped. The approach from Epson for tackling this problem appears to be powering the printer off, detaching peripherals, reseating cartridges, waiting 5 minutes, an re-powering. Here is a link offering variations of this: https://tonixcomp.net/epson-error-code-0x97/

Which ever fix is employed, the ones which do NOT work include replacement of drivers, scanning for viruses, and firmware updates. Hope this saves you some time. I also note that this error message is not confined to a single epson model but it is generally a good thing to supply that model number as well as your OS when researching a problem.

How to fix cannon mx320 Check ink U162 error

For many Canon printers, you can clear the U162 error by pressing and holding the Stop/Resume button on the printer. (You may need to turn off the printer and turn it back on. Then press and hold this button when the error appears on the LCD screen.)

This error can mean that the ink system is having problems pulling ink through to the nozzles or that the printer believes that the cartridge is empty/too old. You can try a deep cleaning To access this, press the Menu button several times until Maintenance is displayed. Then use the left or right arrows to navigate to Deep Cleaning and press OK. Wait until the process is complete (1 1/2 minutes). The second issue is sometimes related to the printer's firmware program that checks the cartridge identification information.

I hope this helps.

My epson tx700 printer dispaly ink pad at end of life and printer not start

A fix from a forum:

Procedure 1 We found this procedure to work for the Stylus Photo 1270 type printer, and understand that it also works for the 870 range and even earlier models like the Stylus Color 740. The error is indicated on these printers by all four lights on the printer flashing. Even if you press the power switch on the printer, the lights continue to flash, and the printer does not turn off!
  1. Turn off your printer, ensuring that the print head is at it's home location and locked in place as normal;
  2. Power off the printer at the wall or by removing the power cable, for at least 20 seconds;
  3. When you restore power to the printer at the wall socket or by reinserting the cable, if the lights come back on straight away, the printer's power switch was 'on' - switch it off and return to step 1;
  4. Hold down the paper-feed button and the button with the ink-drops next to it, and then turn on the printer, still holding the buttons down;
  5. When the paper-out LED flashes, release the buttons;
  6. Press and hold the Cleaning button, until several lights flash - this will take a few seconds (i.e. then release the button);
  7. The printer will now attempt to reset, including resetting the EEPROM memory and running a short (about 10 seconds) cleaning cycle.
Procedure 2
  1. Turn off your printer, ensuring that the print head is at it's home location and locked in place as normal;
  2. Hold down the paper feed button only;
  3. Turn on the printer;
  4. As the paper feed light starts flashing, release the button;
  5. Immediately hold down the ink-drops button for some 10-20 seconds or until the printer springs into life;
  6. Allow printer to complete it's processing, then turn off for a few seconds, and back on again for a newly working printer!
Procedure 3 - for 1290 and possibly 890 printers 1290 printer with green (power / data) and red (ink / paper feed) lights flashing alternately:
  1. Switch off printer with panel switch;
  2. Switch off printer at mains switch - leave off for 20+ seconds;
  3. Hold down roll feed and sheet feed buttons;
  4. Switch on at mains;
  5. Switch on at printer panel;
  6. Continue to hold down roll and sheet feed buttons until both green and red lights flash together in synchronisation, not alternately;
  7. Switch printer off and then, after a few seconds, on again at mains switch;
  8. When red and green lights are both flashing in synchronisation, release the roll and sheet feed buttons;
  9. Press and hold down the ROLL FEED button (the one at the extreme left) and keep it down until the machine finishes whirring, cleaning etc and the green light comes on steady;
  10. Release the roll feed button and all should be well.

Printer carriage stuck?

To fix cartridge errors, complete the following steps:
  1. Remove both cartridges (even if the message indicates only one cartridge). See your printer's manual or help files for specific information on removing and inserting cartridges. Most HP printers must be turned on to remove the cartridges. WARNING: Make sure to complete the procedure and reinstall the cartridges within 30 minutes. The ink in the cartridges can dry in the nozzles if the cartridge is outside of the printer for too long.
  2. Unplug the printer.
  3. Inspect the cartridges:
      If the cartridges are new, make sure the protective tape has been removed completely.Make sure the cartridges are not damaged. If the copper-colored electrical strip is torn or punctured, the cartridge must be replaced.Make sure the cartridges are compatible with the printer. See the manual for a list of compatible cartridges.
  4. Reinstall the cartridges. NOTE: HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of refilled or remanufactured cartridges.
      Make sure each cartridge is in the correct slot.Make sure the cartridge is snapped into place and the latch is closed.Close the front cover and plug the printer back in.
  5. If the steps above do not fix the problem, follow the procedure below to clean the cartridge and electrical contacts:
    1. Gather cleaning supplies:
        Clean distilled water. Use bottled or filtered water if distilled water is not available.Clean cotton swabs or any soft, lint-free material (coffee filters work well).
    2. Remove both cartridges.
    3. Unplug the printer.
    4. Lightly moisten the lint-free cleaning material with clean water.
    5. Clean the cartridge contacts. Avoid touching the nozzles. Replace the cleaning material if it gets dirty. Figure 1: Cartridge nozzles and contactsc00059236.gif 1 - Nozzles 2 - Contacts Figure 2: Cartridge nozzles and contactsc00059237.gif 1 - Nozzles 2 - ContactsIf your cartridge doesn't look exactly like one of the illustrations above, locate the contacts by looking for an area with a number of small copper squares. The illustration below shows some representative cartridge contacts. Figure 3: Cartridge contactsc00059238.jpg
    6. Using a new swab, clean the cartridge contacts inside the printer (the print carriage). The illustrations below show contact locations for some representative carriages. If your carriage does not look like either of the pictures below, try to locate copper contacts inside of the printer that would touch the contacts on the cartridge when the cartridge is installed. Figure 4: Carriage contactsc00059239.gif Figure 5: Carriage contactsc00059240.gif
    7. Allow all the contacts to dry for at least five minutes, or dry them with a clean swab, then reinstall the cartridges.
    8. Close the front cover and plug the printer back in.
  6. If the steps above have not solved the problem, repeat them.
  7. If the error still occurs after repeating all the steps, replace the cartridges. If you have already replaced the cartridges once without solving the problem, contact HP. The printer might need to be serviced.

Error 1200 what is this. I cannot locate my user's guide

Hello Sir, The error on this printer means that the AIO which is All-In-One is stalling or completely stalled. The repair procedure is given below. But you can reply me back clarifying that is it showing Cartridge error 1200 or Hardware error 1200. :--------- THE PROCEDURE:--------------------------
  • Turn the Printer completely off to turn off AIO.
  • Then check for any Paper inside.
  • After confirming that there is none then Un-plug the AIO from the Outlet located in the wall.
  • After 10 Min, replug and check function.
Also the problem can be on the Catridge ( Most Commonly ). In this case you need to check the Catridge socket for any obstruction and also check that the Cartridges are not stuck or misplaced.
Reply me for any further assistance on the Issue.

If the printer is only showing that error 1200 then take care of both the AIO and cartridges reset. Both have to be done.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.
