Question about RCA 20F510TD 20 in. TV/DVD Combo
I just bought this model and I'm having a really hard time trying to find an RCA remote control code that will work for it. I have Comcast cable, so I'm trying to get the Comcast remote to work with this tv. It's just impossible. All the RCA codes I've tried don't work. The auto code search on the Comcast remote isn't finding the code. I'm very upset over this. Does anyone have a working universal remote control code for this model?
I got it to work with code 12002. I have the Comcast DVR Remote.

Code for rca is 1963 u have to program dvd seperately use the quick search fearure but for the tv its 1963

Call comcast buy a universal remote from the local home improvement center all rca remotes are at least 50 percent interchangeable

After hours of research I managed to find a code that works. It does not control the built in DVD player but just having to power and volume functions is a life saver for me.
The code is 12002.

i have to the same exact problem. only difference mine is a slightly older model 20" truflat
i have a t20063 tv and i can't get the universal remote to program i put in all the codes but i still doesn't program. i want to use the input button so i can play my dvd player. any help greatly appericated. leona
i have an rca 20f510td and cannot program an rca remote that came with my rca dta800 digital converter. i have tried all codes ,and cant get it to control any functions. Thanks ROYBASH
My mother is in a nursing home in Florida and last February when her TV remote control was lost (not uncommon in these places), I ordered a replacement control from "partstore.com. Unfortunately, the one they recommended for her unit (RCA 20F510TD) did not operate her TV, but when I called to inquire about the problem, they checked the model number against their part number and said that it was the correct unit. Fact is, it simply did not operate the TV/DVD player and I asked PARTSTORE.COM to issue a return authorization, they callously told me that 30 days had expired and they would not accept it back for credit. It was in fact a few days past the 30 day limit they impose, but I live in another state and by the time the remote control was delivered and I got to take it to Florida, I missed their deadline by a few days. What a shabby way to do business!
'GOTCHA' tactics like this are really deplorable and I will never recommend this company nor purchase anything from them again.
Meanwhile, we go through the channels click by click using the front TV panel controls. Of course mother can't do that because she is confined to her bed. Meanwhile, I'm trying out the Phillips SRU4105WM/17 later today and went on line to see if I could get any suggestions on how to program it. try on rca 1963 it will work the tv program the dvd or vcr with quick search separate once working use the volume and channel to use featues but u have to key each unit separate ex dvd vol up down tv up down and so on
