I have re programmed the speaker select and mode buttons on the remote control by accident. I have only just purchased this receiver second hand and I didnt get a user manual with it. Leaving the batteries out over night doesnt work and the previous owner doesnt know. How do I reset the remote back to its factory settings again please? Thanks.
I have the same amp. Try leaving the batteries our for a while like more than a day. Also if you can join a wire from each battery terminal to the others for a while. That will short out the remote and 0 it. This should cure your problem. I have had to redo the remote many times. Also while the remote is out press all the buttons in as many as your can for a while.

Clearing programmed functions
1. Set the Audio/Video selector to the position corresponding
to the area you want to erase (“Audio” for signals for audio
equipment of other manufacturers and “Video” for signals for
video equipment).
2. Set the Use/Learn selector to “Learn”.
3. Press and hold the CD and Volume V buttons simultaneously.
4. When the Learn indicator goes out, release the CD and
Volume V buttons.
5. When clearing is completed, set the Use/Learn selector to
“Use”. If the selector is left in the “Learn” position, the remote
control will not function."
