You have to download the software in order to view the videos. The disc that came with the camera has the software, open the file and click on "Setup" to load the software onto your computer.
for my 5 month old Olympus D745, I tried all solutions so no avail UNTIL Scary # 6. Just a couple of taps into the palm of my hand and the camera lens opened and now works beautifully! Thanks so much! I couldn't take my camera back to the shop where I bought it as it's in London and I'm in Oklahoma!
you need to get operating system on CD/DVD/USB and install it, if you don't want to pay for OS, download Ubuntu from: http://www.ubuntu.com/download, there's guide on how to copy it onto CD/USB, Ubuntu is very easy to use, free, with lot of great apps available
Well the only way that u can get the soft ware is if you cotact the company that manufactures the camera. Look on the instruction booklet, there will be a number to contact.
If you use a memory card, you don't need the disc. Just use a card reader to download the pics. If you absolutely want to load the disc, you could use a friend's computer to open the disc and copy it to a thumb drive and then use that to load it onto your computer.
