If your pc tells you the sd card is infected it means you have an AntiVirus running. You can use it to remove the virus by SCANNING the card.

You can also get rid of the virus by FORMATTING the card using the camera. The Format option (NOT EARASE) is usualy found in the settings menu. But beware, you will lose all the pictures as well.

Guys you have to have the camera format the SD card itself for best results and compatibility.

Check and make sure the SD card is in all the way, it should make a clicking sound when it's in all the way. I had this same problem with my Vivicam 8025. Hope this helps!

My computer won't show my sd card on the screen

hello,

the reason your laptop wont show your sd card on the screen is because it is not reading the sd card.

it is not reading the disc either because
1. there may be a problem with the card reader,
2. there may be a problem with the slot on the laptop,
3. there may be a problem with the memory card.

to check if it is the card reader, try to use the same memory card reader with another sd card on another laptop and see if it will read it.

to check if it is the slot on the laptop, try to use a new sd card and a new card reader on the laptop to see if it works, if it does not, then you know where the fault is from.

finally, to test the sd card, try to use it on another laptop to see what happens. if it does not work then you can tell where the fault is from.

whichever the fault is, you can change them.

but if it is the card slot, you will have to open up the laptop and clean the slot carefully.

R4 stopped working just shows loading all the time so have formatted the sd card reinstalled firmware added a game still jsut sticks on loading have tried in another sd card in r4 which works same tried in...

try again with wiping the ds sd card and downlaoding new r4 software onto it, cut all your existing games into a new folder so u dont loose them then after the new data is on put the games back in again in the folder naemd "games" and it should work, if not u will need a new r4 sd card hope this helped m8 :)
