Following a power outage, refrigerator goes on an off intermittently every few minutes, including interior lights and cooling. No longer cooling effectively.
To be short, the only thing in the machine that really has the capability of causing that is the compressor. Its got a floating short in and when it makes contact it trips the outlet/breaker. Check for any exposed wires just to be sure but I'm pretty certain that the compressor is the culprit and either it or the machine needs to be replaced or a proffesional sercvice tech called.

It sounds like the main control board is bad . After looking up the board , it is on a recall lisr by GE . You should call GE and have them come and check it .
