My JVC rc-bx530 is on standby, and will not work at all. Nothing I do, or press will get it out of standby. Have tried pushing all buttons, and have tried pulling plug. Nothing works. Please help.

JVC really stinks! Box goes to standby and does nothing, will not power up. I have gotten it to start playing a cd and then it just stops shortly thereafter and goes into standby.

Hi. my JVC RC-EX30 reads the CD I put into it but it wont play the songs. so the "reading eye" can't be broken so what is?

There may be a hair stuck in the sled transport gear (the sled is the part of the mechanism that moves the laser assembly and tracks the the song as it plays)

I have a JVC RC-ST1, I'm trying to record from CD

check to make sure the tab on the cassette is not on, as if it is, it will prevent the record button from being pushed down , thus avoiding overwriting the cassette.
If thats not the case then the record mechanism is damaged inside the cassette caddy.
