Door not shut Check that the door is properly shut.Faulty interlock A faulty interlock might not allow the door to shut properly. Find your door interlock here and replace, or contact a qualified repairer.
No power Check the flex, plug wiring, fuse and mains supply for faults.
Faulty on/off switch Check the power light if fitted. Replace your on/off switch.
Water supply disconnected or off If a washer dryer cannot load water it cannot start a wash cycle. Check water supply.

Why my washing machine unable to switch on?

If there are no lights, check the fuse in the plug.

If the machine comes on but the drum does not move, the motor control circuit board probably has a burnt connection or bad joint. This may also be the cause of the fuse blowing.

Does it work before? Try reset the machine... 1.0 Turn off the machine. 2.0 remove the power supply from the main supply. Leave the machine without any connection for about 15 minutes. try again?

Ariston LI640A 2nd and 4th light flashing

Usually this is a sign that you should call the repairman. However, I had a flashing light once because I made the mistake of trying to use my Ariston without turning on the water to it. I unplugged it from the power and let it sit for about ten seconds. When I plugged it back in, the flashing light was gone. I am not sure if this will help you or not but it is certainly worth the try.

Before you change fuses, do you have an internal fuse board or RCD system in your home? Sometimes, an individual RCD can trip out, locking off sockets. Some sockets are individually set up for up and downstairs in a house, or different rooms. If you have a board or RCDs, check them out :)

On turning on our Ariston A1635 washing machine there was a loud pop. I have checked the plug fuse, that ok. There is power to the machine and the door lock light is on faintly but the wash cycle light...

Could bs a faulty door lock, if this is faulty, then nothing will work, so that is where I would start.

My machine has all the lights flashing but not brightly and won't do anything. I've switched it off overnight and it's still doing it! Any ideas?

your voltage migh gone down, your supply of electricty might not have enough power, try to unplug other appliances to your house , and let only the washing machine be plug on, if this work, it means that your eletric current is under voltage or you have a voltage drop on your electric supply
