I lost the instructions on how to convert to a toddler bed. Do you keep one rail and replace the drop down rail with the conversion bar? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you need to get the conversion rail. I'm looking for one if anyone can find one. I can't find a number for the manufacturer and the store I bought it from doesn't carry it anymore.

It should have come with the toddler rail when you purchased the crib. Simply remove a few screws and take the front of the crib off (what would be the footboard). Then simply slide the toddler rail in the tracks.
A purchase of adult rails is required to make the conversion to a full size bed for the next step.

I just went on to the Storkcraft website for Canada and found some installation instructions. There are instructions for the initial set up, for converting to a toddler bed, and converting to a daybed. Here's the link . On the right side there are 3 links for Assembly instructions. The first is the initial assembly, the second shows the toddler bed and daybed assembly, and the third is a complete installation manual. Hope that helps!
They do have answers on their website, you may want to check your printed or online crib instructions to remind yourself how you put the crib together, too.

i've pasted them below. You can make it a toddler bed without a side rail just by removing the movable side of your crib, and you can install the side rail instead of the movable side if you want it to look a little more finished and help keep your child from rolling out of the bed.
