Re: won't fill with water
First eliminate the pressure switch. Remove the two screws in back of the consol and flip it up. On the left you will see the pressure switch with a 1/4 inch rubber tubing going to it. Pull the tubing off the switch and see if the washer starts filling. Blow through the hose to see if it is clear. Don't leave the hose off because the washer will over fill. Catriver..post back.

Without knowing the make and model, a basic answer to this problem is that the fill switch has gone bad. If your machine proceeds to agitate and spin without water, the washing machine 'thinks' it has water in it and this happens when the fill switch is stuck open. Rarely, the tube that goes from the tub to the switch may be clogged which may cause the switch to remain open.
Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. This sounds like a problem with the water level switch in the washer. It controls the amount of water entering the tub. It is probably defective. You may want tomake sure the switch is getting power first by testing the wires with a voltage meter.
It sounds like the switch that controls the water level is stuck ,thereby telling the controller that it is already full of water, causing it to start agitating right away.
Give the top of the console panel a good tap, this may release the switch if it is stuck.
If this does not work, then possibly the pressure hose is blocked that controls the switch.
