I am a computer technician, and a client brought a dialogue flybook v5, centrino duo, with vista installed. it uses the recent strongROM security, i have split it open to find jumpers or anything that can lead me to reseting the password, but to no avail. does anyone know how to go about this?
Hi,
due to fixyas terms and conditions, this information can not and should not be posted on the forums.
this is due to obvious legalities, of who the laptop actually belongs to ?
The person in charge or purchaser of the item, should have any relevant information to unlock any security passwords. Newer style laptops actually have security chips on board, which can only be unlocked or passwords provided by the legitimate owner of the item, or by contacting the manufacturer for an unlock password. i,d suggest that you contact your client for this information.
Thankyou for using fixya.
