Question about Water Sport
When i put the waverunner in the water and hold the gas down it will get up to 7 mph and rev out to 7k rpm then if i feather the gas and zig zag it will get up and go if it goes over 15 mph the problem is gone but if it falls be low 15 the problem is back \new motor, mid shaft bearing, new driveshaft and jetpump installed and still the same problem impeller is good and wear ring is good what can it be please help me out
If the wear ring is installed wrong or the impeller is full of debris this will be the result. look close at the wear ring for scrape marks from the propeller OR are you missing carpet off the rungs of the trailer ?

sound to me like it maybe a faulty sensor in the transmission. take your car to someone with an ODB reader and see if a transmission fault is indicated. you may have to take your car to a transmission shop.

Hi im sorry for your problem we BUY these things to have fun but they seem to hate us at times i had the exact problem on my 1200 waverunner if you have the stock cadilatic converter you might have burned it especaly if you dont use the YAMALUBE W-2 OIL. if you did every thing the book asked you to do as far as trouble shooting i know this is the problem. now if you have a cadilatic converter D PLATE asembly wich removes the converter completly this is a high performence item your computer might be going haywire because you need a chip just google d plate and chip and you will find it your problem is defenatly in your exhust system i hope this helpes my e mail is [email protected]

hate to break it to you. carbs need to be rebuilt. the new fuel doesnt bode well for the carbs, clogs a really small filter and jets in the carbs
just had it done for the second time for a cost of $550/each time
