Motorola s9 headset wont turn on

When I plug the headset in to charge the green light flashes twice and then turns red, the red light lasts for about 25 seconds and then goes out. After it has been left to charge for a couple of hours I can't get it to turn on and get no led colors at all. I have tried other chargers but still no luck, How can I fix this little drama ??? ****..

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Does anyone know what the problem is? If so, what is the fix.

SOURCE: HOW TO INSTALL A MOTOROLA H550 BLUETOOTH HEADSET

Usually to pair a new device like that, there would be some trick to set it up. Im not familiar with your exact model, however ive had success with holding some buttons in.

Usually you would hold down the power button, or perhaps the volume up and down together, hold them down for a few secs and the light will go blue/red/blue/red to show its in pairing mode.

SOURCE: My motorola h721 keeps blinking red.

if you didn't pair your phone up yet, that could be why. Hold all 3 buttons down for 10 sec. should go solid blue, then pair your phone cause its in discovery.

My Motorola HK250 wont charge is flashing red all the time

Mine is too. Mine will sit solid red for a little then turn solid blue. Then after that it will flash red all the time. I've had it on the charger for the last 2 days and that's all its been doing. I read the flashing red light means the battery is either unchangeable or not making proper contact.

I have a h700 bluethooth and dont have a manual. what color should the light be when connecting to the phone, in use, and charging.

The indicator turns red when charging and turns green when fully charged. The headset will flash in purple when it is in discovery mode (mode where it is looking for a device to be paired with it). If it has already been paired with a device it is blue and then flashes blue when it is paired. The link for the manual is below. http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/manuals/QG-H700_9499A88O.pdf

How do I put the motorola s9 hd wireless headset in pairing mode for a iPhone 3G ?

Starting with your headset turned off, press and hold the power button for some 6 seconds, until the indicator light flashes alternately in blue and red. It is in pairing mode now. Then, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while the S9 should appear on-screen. Make it connect. If a paring code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). The indicator light will flash some times and enter stand-by mode.
Hope it works for you.

On my motorokr s9 the green light just stay on even when I don't charge it is there a reset button or anything?

This is caused by a power surge. To correct, plug your headset into charge, and then plug into power strip. Trip the switch on the power strip to off. It will cause a drain and turn off your green light and then allow the headset to turn back on.

When I plug my Motorola H710 bluetooth in to charge the light only blinks red and when I use it it never seems to turn on?!

Here's the instructions for charging.
Plug the Motorola charger into the end of
the headset.
The indicator light turns red when the battery is charging. It may take up to 1 minute for the indicator light to turn on. When the headset's battery is fully charged (about 2hours), the indicator light turns green.

From your information, it may very well be that the battery should be replaced if the red light doesn't go off as it should.

Here's a link to the full instructions. I hope this helps.

Motorola s9 headset not charging

I had the same problem but instead of a red light it would flash green twice and stay off. I could not find the original charger and another plug in charger would not work. I plugged it into my computer with a usb cable and after several seconds it started charging.

Motorola S9 headset won't charge batteries

This might work if you aren't using the ORIGINAL charger. I had this problem when my cat chewed through the original Motorola charger. I figured my Blackberry charger would work fine, but it didn't. I then discovered that my Blackberry charger was 700mAH and the broken charger was only 550mAH. When I found another charger with the proper power it charged. I also found that it worked when plugging it into my computer with a standard mini USB. I hope this helps.

S9 headset

I just hooked it up with a usb sync cable to my computer. It was installed and ready to use and the charging light came on. Seems like it is charging as the led went from red to yellow, and it does turn on now. However, it still does not work with the usb cable plugged into a wall charger. If this solution works for others having the same issue kindly post your results.
