My ariston a1636s is not finishing a cycle and there is always water on the floor and the machine just stops. where is the filter in the machine as i do not hace a manual to find it. when u open the machine how do i know where to find it. any suggestions greatly appreciated lisa
Most Ariston machines have a filter behind the kick plate at front bottom of machine. Before un-screwing drain machine by lowering drain hose into a bowl or bucket. if filter is not there get back to me for other options.
Ok now it gets a bit tricky. There is no filter so you will have to take the pipe off the pump &check pipe & pump for obstructions. If you tilt the machine back & look under you will see a large pipe coming from drum to pump. you need to disconnect this at the pump. This is easier if pump is removed from frame by undoing the screws that hold it. Dont forget to drain machine first as described earlier. Let me know how you get on plz. peteOk now it gets a bit tricky. There is no filter so you will have to take the pipe off the pump &check pipe & pump for obstructions. Plug off the wall. Open up behind the machine. Check to see if any wires loose. See that the wires from the control panel to the motor are plugged in tight. Vibration from the machine could loosen the wires and give the display wrong readings, or disrupt the run.
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON A 4 MONTH OLD MACHINE AND I CALLED A SERVICE PERSON. HE SAID THAT I CAN THROW IT AWAY. THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT NOBODY CAN FIX.
