I Also have the Aspire 5310 and when you press the bluetooth launch button it says 'No Bluetooth Device', this is becasuse it does not have the Bluetooth card installed into this computer and this is an extra for your laptop... hope this helped.
Thanks

First of all check if your Laptop has the bluetooth feature. If it has then the driver should have been automatically installed. There is a button in your laptop, make sure that the bluetooth is on.
Thanks

If you do not have a white sticker on your laptop with" Bluetooth" stated your machine does not have one, only the ability to run one once installed, check the acer website for details, downloading lots of drivers will not work if you have no module installed, most do not.

First of all check that you really DO have a BlueTooth unit. Acer uses the same chassis for models with and without Bluetooth, so the button being there doesn't mean necessarily there's something under it.
For example this one 7535G on eBay does not have a BlueTooth.

If you do have bluetooth:
Check the Bluetooth is active in the BIOS, and if you have a single button model ("one button to rule them all") check the button configuration - there should be an Acer hotkey utility somewhere to do that. Very often, the button is set to control only one device between WiFi, optional internal cell modem, and BlueTooth. Normally that is WiFi. Set it to "Both". This, I repeat, if you DO have a 'single button' device.
Also, check you have the original Acer drivers. I once mis-installed a set of wrong Widcomm drivers without realizing it, and almost went crazy troubleshooting it.

Make sure you have the driver for the bluetooth installed http://support.acer.com/us/en/drivers_download.aspx
here is a link to the driver downlod page. You can check it by going into System Properties then click on Hardware tab to see if it is installed properly. (right click on My Computer Icon and select Properties to get to the System Properties)
