Starting problem Dead TV. RCA 32F530T, chassis ATC113CD4. I Replace flyback # 257807 along with the H-O/P XSTR (2SC5148).
    > Problem fix. Everything work fine, except i have hatching or tearing lines at one or two places on the screen depending on the white level (contrast), always in half screen area on the top. Same symptom with video and RF input.
    >I replace the flyback 3 times with different part # (not original RCA flyback) and suppliers, 257807, 257805 and ACME-2632 (replacement for RCA #261163). Still have exactly the same problem with 2 tv set. I checked parts in the horizontal and vertical circuit, DC supply, everything looks good.
Additional info: RCA 32F530T TV year 2004 (not 32F531T).
Original RCA flyback NLA. Use original Horiz output transistor Toshiba 2sc5148.
If i lower the vertical height, tearing lines disappear. No error code in service mode.
    Any suggestion? Bulletin note?
    Someone saw that before?
    Thanks
    Pierre

I received this solution:
"This was apparently caused by using replacement flybacks. Add a .001uf cap ([email protected]) from RL03 (the side away from the FBT) to ground. This will shift the picture a little then compensate a little with parameter 15."

In my case, i used an other flyback the HR8934 from Diemen to get a more stable picture without blooming, and add a 440pF (two 220pF capacitor in parallel) instead of .001uf to eliminate the tearing lines.TV won't turn on - bfde541.jpgac61dec.jpgdda8fac.jpg.

I've owned for approx 3 yrs. Today I was watching a show on my Panasonic TH-50PZ80U and all the sudden the sound went away. From the lowest volume setting to the highest, no noise at all...Please...

Hello!
First move: unplug your broadcast provider's box, wait for a minute, then plug it back into power source. I mean: leave all the connections intact, just unplug from power source. It might be just power cord or power adapter. If that's not the case, please do the same with TV. Unplug it from wall outlet, wait a minute, plug it back in. It's a next step, if your "box" won't take care of the problem. If that won't take care of the issue, refer to owner's manual for "reset" procedure. Worst case scenario: you might need to replace main board inside or your TV.
good luck,
Thanks,
Alex.

TV won't turn on.

The buzzing sound could be due to either a bad filter capacitor in the power supply or a shorted component further down the line keeping the power supply from running at the correct frequency.
