My advice is to have your truck checked out asap. Driving with a continuous blinking light could cause damage to the exhaust system. Have someone hook up a scanner to see what the code is.

Better ask Freightliner.

Are you sure that is the code? Its engine "128", but the rest isnt adding up.

not in my range of expertise as commercial vehicle but there should also be a FMI code number to go with the fault code , follow link to the freightliner web site where you can download owner manuals etc that may give you more info on your problem also a freightliner forum would be a good source of info , keep me posted if you wish

hi if you entered it wrong the first time and was wrong you shouldent of really tried again, it sounds like its hard looked so there is shops you can take it to to cable unlock it for you some shops are cheaper than others sorry

Get a factory repair manual, read the repair instructions, determine if your level of skill is suited for the job, if you decide to do the job, when you finish the work you can than answer how hard it was for you.

To expect someone who does not now your level of skill to determine if you can do it is not a reasonable question.

if you press and hold the mode button it should beep then you will get the component location. ecu 128 for example is in the engine- mid 136 is the abs. once you see that, press the mode button again and you will get the code. sid 123 for example- press mode button again and you will get the failure code. FL 02, could indicate when it is reading a high or low reading, short or open... etc. once you have the three parts of this code then you should be able to contact your local dealer to find out what the code means. Truck diagnostics are not always easy... active codes really just give technicians a place to start... hope this helps
