My phone will be fine, but then suddenly it freezes with a black screen and the buttons flashing continuously.

No matter what I press, it just continues to stay frozen. The only way I can get it to turn off is to remove the battery for about a minute, then replace it. It then starts up and works fine again for a few hours. I did drop it a few days ago, could that have caused these problems and is it fixable, or do I need to start searching for a new phone?

    I think I've explained it all pretty thoroughly! If the "experts" don't think it's enough, or don't understand it, then there's really not much hope for mankind...or this website anyway! If so called experts can't understand a complete explanation of symptoms in plain English and what I have to do to get the mobile working again, then pity help the novices that haven't been trained in this field!!

Same thing happened to one of my phones after i dropped it several times. I ended up having to just get a new phone because pulling the battery out stopped working it would just stay frozen and would turn itself off and on over and over again until the battery died

    That's what I suspected. Oh dear, I definitely don't want it to get to that stage! Looks like I'll be going phone shopping. Know any that bounce? hahaha

Hi, when a phone randomly freezes, it means that the phones memory is faulty or when an application you downloaded has virus.

Hi, the experts of this phone: I had this KF750...
You could try to hard reset your device, in an attempt to sort your problems out. Be warned that a hard reset will set everything on your phone to their factory defaults, for what you'll loose all the programs you have installed, as well as your personal data. Anyway, to perform a hard reset, turn your phone off completely, by pressing and holding the power button, and, then, answering to the power off prompt. Then, press and hold the Volume Down, the Call, and the Power buttons, until the LED (at the side of the camera) flashes. Release the buttons. That LED should flash in green/red/blue now. When your device powers up, it should be completely cleared.

 Hope it works for you, since this is completely theoretical. I have never done it myself.

HTC P3300 Smartphone frozen
To perform a hard reset power on the phone (doesn't matter what it shows on the screen), keep the two action buttons pressed (the ones with the dashes on them) and do a reset with the stylus without leaving the action buttons.
Then a black sreen will appear and you have to press the the send (green) button and your phone will boot up from scratch (will take some minutes).

Imate kjam freezes if not used for a long time. Unable to take even a call. Require to reset and then it works fine.
Here is how to hard-reset your MDA/Wizard using a key combo - courtesy of a smart T-Mobile tech support help desk guy who wrote a note about it as it's not in official help doc's: 1. Simultaneously hold down the Communication Manager and Voice Dial buttons and put the Soft Reset 'button' with the stylus tip - all at the same time. 2. You see a very scary looking black screen with white letters in System font reading something along the lines of ?Are You Sure? Press Send key to continue.? 3. When you push the 'Send' key, the Green pick-up the phone key process starts 4. Next you will see what made me smile like a kid - Formatting FAT partition and very briefly in matter of few seconds began normal first boot.
