Repairguy - thanks for the quick reply.
I queried the part numbers you provided on partstore.com (not sure if this is a recommended site for purchasing components) and they listed three belts for model # PMC-DR50
- Belt (BR) 304583101
- Belt (FR) 304583201
- Belt 393302001
I could not find one of the part numbers (304583102) on the partstore.com part list. Is it possible you reversed the last three numbers for the second part?
My intent is to replace both belts (if I don't goof it up). Which belts should I order from the above list? Belt installation tips welcomed...

the bulb has blown.... if you get the bulb out and replace it yourself, you would still be looking at the same price range, bulbsa are expensive... i suggest let the repairguy do it but if you do try it yourself, there should be a panel at the back of the tv that opens where you can then proceed to replace the bulb

you need the 188.8.131.52 number. (May be different on yours.) Now take that number and put it whrere you usually type www.yahoo.com in firefox. If it works its a dns issue and it is usually the service providers end. If it doesnt work then reinstall firefox.
