Question about Shure Audio Players & Recorders
I have 2 PG4 receivers and 2 PG 58 Handheld mic's. Why can't they work at the same time?
SOURCE: shure wireless UHF microphone
Make sure the microphone and the receiver are still broadcasting/receiving on the same channel.
Check that all of the appropriate connections are right from the receiver to the mixing board are connected as well.
I hope this helps!
God Bless you!

It depends on the specific frequency that you have. Some of the UT systems operated between 698 and 806 MHz, and they are now illegal.
Other UT systems operated below 698 MHz and those are still legal to use.
Look at the frequency that is on the sticker on the back or bottom of the receiver or the sticker that is in the battery compartment of the microphone.

Unfortunately, there are many, many things that can cause a unit to be non-functional. Try calling Shure to get it repaired, or call Delta Audio at 773-764-3634. Delta Audio also repairs older Shure equipment.

Hello
First of all check the impedence [resistance] of its output connections. you can check it with measuring the resistance of pin [2=>3]. there must be an impedence of 300 to 400Ohms. Measure it with a high quality digital multimeter. Never use analogue multimeter. If these connections shows the above said resistance range, and still the mic does not works, the cartridge is faulty, and should be replaced with ORIGINAL one by any experienced service technician. If it is found open circuted, the transformer inside it is faulty. If you have its manual things are easy. The XLR sockets' internal connection diagram is shown in it. If you don't have one, send your email address to me by Fixya. I can't upload it to you by this site, as it does not allow me to send such large files through.
Anyway, when you replace these components, be sure it is an orginal one. Insist on orginal, as you are a professional mucian. OK.
Thanks for using Fixya.
