Good day, Bgchzy;
This model is known for the tubes leaking fluid, glucose, on the PCB. Check the front of the chassis for said fluid, it may be only a drop, so look closely.
To fix, after TV has no power, try cleaning the board with cleaner and brush, let dry. I suspect this because of multi unrelated problems.

Good Day;
Blue screen that has gotten worse over the past few days, I would suspect fluid on your signal board.
The three CRT's in the TV has coolant that tries to keep them cool but they have a problem with the 'glycol' leaking out of it's chamber.
Take speaker grill off, remove panel and look on the right side of opening. Look for fluid on the board, shinny substance, it's hard to see so look closely. That is the most common problem.
2&3 are the CRT's or the CRT's drive circuit.
Good Luck, Day,let me know, Big Irish.

Unless this JUST started happening AND the TV worked previously, or you recently added a device to your set up, I am guessing that you simply are on the wrong input. For instance, I have a playstation connected to Video 2 and if my TV is set to Video 2 input AND my playstation is NOT on, the screen will be lit, but no picture. Make sure you are on the correct input.

TCL Blue Screen "No Media"

I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER!!!! I just bought an TCL TV last night and was given the wrong remote. Screen was stuck on "no media" screen BUT I noticed that when I turn the tv on and keep pressing the menu button, the menu screen would pop up for a half second before the no media screen popped up again. So I knew it was able to access it. SO, it took a few try's and with no exact method I turned the tv on, waited til I saw the TCL logo and then simultaneously pressed the menu and channel up button repeatedly. It will open the menu for you and allow you to move between the input channels!!!! It WILL take a few tries to catch it but it worked!!! Your welcome!!!!

My screen is green and does not show a picture or sound! You cannot change the channel or access the menu! Is it the picture tube or lamp?

Can you see menus if you press the menu button? You could be set to the wrong input that doesn't have a signal coming in. I have one TV that shows a blank blue screen when I'm on an input that has no signal. If there is not a signal on the input being used you will also not have sound.

I have a problem with my webcam sound. I recorded my assignment speech and when i try to listen to the speech, there was no sound coming out from the webcam. i tried everything and nothing worked. Can you...

Hi chinonsobeau,

First off, you to list the model number of your HP web Cam, as well as your OS, and the software you using to record your sound. I will assume that you have Quickplay which HP ususally send out with their web cams.

To access QuickPlay, just press the "blue QuickPlay button" next to the power button. If it doesn't load QuickPlay, just do "Start" - "All Programs" - then you will see QuickPlay listed there. If you still can't find it just do a search, you will find the short-cut. If you still don't find it, then HERE is a place you can download it and use it. It also has instruction on how to use it.

Or sometimes HP sends out Cheese, another camera software. You can download that HERE.

These are the instructions for QuickPlay:

Once launched QuickPlay, click on the 2nd icon from left (between DVD and TV icon), then double-click on "HP Pavilion WebCam" from the left side panel, then you will see the blue LED light lit and you should see yourself on the screen. (Double-click "yourself" to enlarge image)

To take a picture or record video, just press the corresponding buttons on the top. (the red circle icon is for recording video (press "Stop" icon to stop recording), the camera icon is for, well, camera)
Videos and pictures are saved at:
Pictures -- C:\Users\Public\Pictures\My Snapshots
Videos -- C:\Users\Public\Videos\HP Webcam

I'm less familiar with Cheese, so I'll give you their website HERE to go to their support and they can guide you through their program.

Anyway, I hope this helps,

Don't forget to leave a raing,

Thanks

Mark

Sounds like you mabe be on the wrong source. Try hitting the input button on the side of the set to change inputs. Input channel up or down find tv hit input again. If on the wrong input you will only get a blue screen and message no signal that will apear for a few seconds.

My lcd tv has no sound or picture it has a grey screen

You should try to use the Component cables. The red/green/blue cables as this will give you a better picture. Make sure your DVD player and TV will support those cable. However, the cable your using now will work. Your TV might be on the wrong input. Look for a button on the TV that says INPUT or SOURCE to change the input. It might be only on the remote control and not on the TV itself.
