Please help. It seems that when we first turn a the T.V. on after it has been off for a while(either over night or while we are out) it will shut itself off, no pic, no sound, and we can not turn it back on. It does this 4-5 times right in a row, with little time between each time ( maybe 5 Minutes at the most) However, when it kicks back for the last time on it has the t.v. menu on it, and it stays on, at least most of the time. Any suggestions?

Rule out any loose contacts in power outlet, RC Jack, cables and connectors. The problem described by you calls for opening the back cover and further investigation, which should only be done by a qualified service technician.
Push the power button and the action button on the tv set until it shuts itself off and this will reset your tv. You cannot use the remote to reset...must use the actual tv buttons on the television set.
I had the same problem, however mine was a 32inch. It is a blown fuse. It is not the power cord. What you need to do is find out what fuse voltage you need. Hope this advice helps. I have a panasonic model CT-32SX12C.
u have a bad solder inside your tv or most of the time called "cold solder". if u have soldering tools, inspect the board inside for possible cold solder and resolder it.
